Hello Christina Wow you use so many different yarns to make that blanket like wow I would never put that many different types of yarn together in 1 project not unless it was a scrap it up Yes scrap it up yeah but Never in a in a project meant to look beautiful Although Although the blanket I really think is gorgeous I would have never thought that it had so many different types of yarn in ityou're.
I think I'm gaining courage in my crochet work. I also started using a Color wheel, which has given me confidence in trying new pairings. The yarn weights were actually pretty similar, and all 100% acrylic, so it was only the colors that varied. Also, the speckled and heathered look is not too different from a solid. I wouldn't add a self-striping, for example. That might be too many colors, and too much randomness, for me, at least. ☺️
I like that green and orange together. It made a very pretty blanket for the Boggy Creek Camp.
