Amanda, this is so lovely!! definitely a 'must-make' project. thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome!
I believe this is my new favorite stitch pattern. It appears it’ll help keep the edges straight also.
It does! One of my favorites 😊
Beautiful stitch and so easy. Great tutorial Amanda!!!! Tyfs God bless you
Thank you! 😊
@@AmandaCrochets you're so welcome🙃
I really love this pattern. Thank you for showing us how to make it. I like that most of the stitches are done in spaces. ❤️Grandma Brenda!
I’m happy to hear you love this pattern! Working into the spaces does help make it a little easier. I think that’s why I love this stitch so much. Happy crocheting! 🧶
I just got 4 of the pound of love skeins of yarn! I think I found my next project thanks Amanda ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰 so pretty
You’re very welcome! Enjoy making this blanket!
I like this stitch pattern.
Yay I’m glad!
@@AmandaCrochets the only thing I don’t really like is changing colors and having to weave in a lot of ends.
@@jenniferfatzinger7714 you can always use a self striping yarn instead. Sometimes you can’t help but weave in ends. I like to weave them in every so often to avoid doing so all at the end. Makes it a little easier. 😊
Gorgeous blanket.
Thank you! 😊

Hi. This blanket is lovely. I can’t thank you enough for this tutorial, especially because I can actually see everything you are doing! Being able to see it so closely is such a blessing. I have been crocheting since I was 8, obviously off and on. My grandma taught me. I just turned 67 yesterday, lol. The ole eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I have a couple of questions. First, let me honest, I lost my husband 4 months ago. I’m trying to recapture the desire to knit and crochet. So, question number 1: can single foundation stitches be substituted for reg chains. #2. The 3 chains at the beginning of the new row, can, in your opinion, a standing double crochet be substituted? Honestly, the pattern is stunning. I think I’m just trying to prepare myself for the holidays without him. And this pattern caught my eye m lol. Many thanks!❤
Hello! Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed this tutorial, especially with the close ups of the stitches. Wow, that's amazing how long you've been crocheting! It's been such a blessing in my life, as I'm sure it has been for you. I am so, so sorry to hear about your husband. My thoughts are with you. To answer your questions, 1-yes you can always make a single crochet foundation instead of making chains. 2-I've never heard of a standing double crochet, so I had to look it up. That looks like a really cool technique! As I've never done that before, I would say give it a try and see how you like it. If it works, continue, and if not, I would go back to chaining 3. I hope that helps! :)
@@AmandaCrochetsYes it does help. I just saw your response today, lol. Thank you for your kind words.
I am making a blanket using this stitch and colors, but in a different order, green white red white.
Awesome! Hope you enjoy :)
😊
Thanks!
❤❤❤
Thanks!
I like the blanket and the tutorial however it does not say how to secure the tails or how to hide them and if you are a beginner this is something we need to know.
To hide your ends, you will weave them in between your project back and forth a few times. You can then cut the extra yarn off. Hope that helps! I’ll try and show this in future videos.
@@AmandaCrochets I don’t know how to weave them in I have never done it before
I have a video tutorial on how to do so. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/494pqpOgMt8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gidCN4QQWXiVU8B3
