Lovely to hear your voice, Abi. You're a really good narrator. It was heartbreaking to see the old flocks and to think more about what you've been through. But lush to see spring breaking on your land. Thanks for sharing this all. And it's great to see you are keeping the genetics :) x
At this point our focus is on saving our genetics. We will take hatching eggs from them and the salmonella should not pass over to the next generation.
Thanks for the answer. Was putting the ducks down the most efficient economic choice, or was it a state requirement due to their salmonella positive test?
Glad to see y'all sticking with it. Keeping the dream alive is rough for sure, but it's for all the right reasons.
Josh loves his lady. That shot of the arm extended round Abbey, so dear, because we’re sharing the reason for your hearts’ pain. Bless you all
Thank you!

Excellent narrating voice! The ducks look so happy!
I wish you lots of success with your breeding programme, but I'm missing eating your delicious eggs.
Awesome, glad to see y’all are coming back, y’all inspired me to start raising the Khaki Campbell.
🙏
Respect and love! Tnx for the effort and education!
Hi, do you find any difference in egg laying performance?
between breeds? Yes. The Khaki Campbells are the best, followed by the Dark Campbells, and then the Welsh Harlequins.
My family is looking to do something very similar to what you're doing. Please dont give up, you are an inspiration
Wishing you the very best of luck. One day I'd like to buy some birds from you.
Awesome!
What about the salmonella isue?

Did you put the ducks down or sell them? Thanks.
We put down most of the ducks, and kept back a small number for breeding.

@@vanbatenburg It was a government requirement, although we asked to keep back a small number given we have such rare breeds.
