Hey, thanks for this one. So far my favorite of yours because you explain all the different facets of the lures - color, construction, when to fish them. Awesome instruction!
Hey dude, really great video! Just wanted to know if the Cripplure is similar in any way to the Luhr Jensen Super Duper series? If so, would you recommend tying directly to the snap on a Super Duper in the same way you do with a Cripplure? I've been using the Super Dupers with no luck so far and I'm wondering if it's because I'm using a swivel and thus ruining the presentation on my retrieve...
Black, dark blue and dark green spoons work well at times....As far as the orange lures go, it seems like the clearer the water in the lake the better those bright orange lures work on big browns...An orange Rapala is the hands down choice if you want a big brown at Pardee, which is crystal clear....Don't get me wrong though, big browns are hard to catch on any lure, but they sure seem to like those bright orange offerings....Thanks for watching!..Cal
You mentioned painting a lure with black spray paint. Would you paint both sides of the lure or just one side and leave the other side chrome or brass or whatever color it was originally? Thanks.
Float tube: I want to start jigging cast master for Browns…. Orange hu? I get one of those also… a guy in the east , salt water fisherman found in the deeper waters with little light, the dark (black) is the color that works best over silver or white … I hear Browns are 40 deep at Beardsley! 😎
Honestly I've done most of my fishing up there from a boat, however there is public access in a number of spots such as Jellys Ferry Road....If I were you I'd ask the local experts at either Sportsman's Warehouse in Redding or at the Fly Shop...They will put you on the right spot with the right approach....Hope this helps...
Thanks for the help boss that was going to be my next go to keep up the good work boss great videos. And those kastmasters are killer up in central oregon on the deschutes
Yes Sir A.J. I watch a couple guys on TH-cam that fish the Ohio River and surrounding waters....It looks fun...The one guy Jnull0 is a homesteader that has a secondary fishing channel...Good tips and lots of fun!...Have a safe 2018 and thanks for tuning in!!
Plugging refers to casting and retrieve lures....Any lure....But I do have several videos about using plugs for trout...Here is my most recent one...Thanks for watching! th-cam.com/video/wcy3s_NlWyU/w-d-xo.html

Well I could go either way, but a black one side and chrome on the other sounds interesting to me...
Fish Hunt Shoot Productions. Me too, I’m going to paint one side of a chrome Kastmaster and see what happens.
