    I live in Michigan and were shut down as well. Are store shelves are empty. No I don’t think we’re over reacting it is necessary to slow the virus down. This virus is more contagious and more deadly then the flu virus. I’ve been in the medical filed for 26 years. I think people need to take this serious. Stay safe and healthy.

    Im norwegian : You should have tested people every day and followed up every one infected. You are 2-3 weeks after Europe.
    But in your country its a cost to be tested - crazy.

      After this virus passes. The West is follow the East norms. Face mask will be the new norm and so will be bowing to greet older or superior people. Among friends a simple wave. Hand shakes won't be done anymore

    • @hiddenkard3101
      @hiddenkard3101 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The East does things differently for a reason and because of experience. That's why only China and Japan aren't getting many new cases meanwhile S. Korea has been REDUCING the number of cases. That and the fact, that thousands have already been tested (drive thru testing), health screenings at the airport, workers in hazmat suits spraying down the subways, buses and the streets. Apps that track the infected and stores that have body heat cameras(you can track who has fever). Only those are making gains against the virus meanwhile in the west it's spreading fast like a wildfire

    In Central Florida all the theme parks are closed including Disney World and Lego Land. All the schools and universities are closed until mid April online classes only. Bars and lounges are closed. Restaurants are still open but no sit down service because all the dining areas are closed. Drive thru and carry out only. Just got the one call message from my church, all church functions and services are closed until further notice but the church office will still be open regular hours for emergencies. All cruises are shut down until further notice. No toilet paper and sanitizing agents and pain killers at the stores. WalMart just started to ration bottled water. Noticed the local public bus service in Volusia County (Daytona Beach area) is still running. Don't know whats going on with Amtrak or Sun Rail train service yet. Stay safe everyone!!

      Hi again Mario, we’re fully aware that we can potentially infect others. Please do a quick google search and you’ll see that the only masks that are effective are N95 and since there is a shortage of PPE it would make no sense for us to try to get one when first line healthcare providers need them. We’ve been compliant with social distancing recommendations.

      FYI it’s not elderly only who are getting sick. Many of the hospitalizations that are happening for people in their 20s 30s and 40s they just get better after 2 to 3 weeks of ICU care in some cases being on ventilators for two or three weeks. It’s the elderly who are most at risk of dying when they get sick and as a species more susceptible to the contagion as we age it seems. Many will be fine, but some will be very very sick and survive. There is also early evidence anecdotally that there may be some long-term scarring to the lungs of the people who were the most severely sick. And they vary in all age ranges. Right now we are seeing similar scarring that we see with other respiratory disorders that people then have compromised lungs for life.
