  • Cribs, truck camper edition. Come inside and see what interior upgrades we've done so far to our 2019 Four Wheel Camper Fleet Shell Model. These easy additions make a big impact, and we're positive you can tackle any of these projects - if not do them better than we did! Now all that's left to do is hit the road for some winter truck camping. Until next time, we're MTN UP. #fourwheelcamper #shellmodelmodifications #truckcamping

    October, 2022.
Based on your editing skills plus the personalities of the two spokes-models, I still say you could head to the big-time as full-time TH-camrs.

2003, we converted a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle.
After removing the rear roll-up door, I fabricated a steel wall and door.
I fabricated a rear porch with roof... we are headquartered in rainy Oregon, a roof over the entry seems practical, a spot to stamp muddy boots and sandy sandals.
I made the deck of expanded steel, similar to stout window-screen (to eliminate moisture under the mattress, the bed platform is similar expanded steel).
With a shower-curtain (or not...), this porch makes a dandy place to shower.
    .
    We prefer the rear entry.
Approaching through the door, we think the lengthwise view gives a sense of visual and visceral openness.
Based on our experiences, a side entrance slams the view against the opposite wall... exasperated/exaggerated if cabinets further restrict the space.
    .
We would enjoy hearing your opinions on your rear entrance compared to shopping side-entry RecreateVehicles at dealers or shows!

Amazing project you tackled! We don't know much about side entry only but can say that walking into the middle of a space may not be for us. The illusion of more space from the back is nice haha. And thank you... so far we have this little community of subscribers that really feel like our people, and we're so grateful for each and every person. We didn't expect to have any so this experience has been awesome. Weekend adventure in the works, so should have another video out on Monday. Thanks for your continued support, know that we appreciate you!!

Love you trash can idea! Also, thank you for the upholstery tips. Our FWC camper came with some less than desirable upholstery and we definitely want to create covers for the cushions. Great video. Cheers!

    Excellent editing!
    This's a pleasure to watch.
Your explanation and demonstrations are quick yet thorough.
Do you have a commercial background in information sharing?
    And the spokes-model is adorable...

The kindest comment! Thanks so much! No relevant background but I do find editing to be the most fun part, so I think maybe that helps.

Question: how does your truck ride on off roads. I have a 1500 4×4 long bed and I'm looking around
