I’m so glad I found you again! For some reason your videos dropped off my notifications. I really enjoy your videos-you’re such a prolific knitter and I always get good ideas for what to knit next! Thanks
How cozy sitting by the fire for the chat today! You always have such a nice setting when you podcast 😊 Good to see you and nice to catch up on the knitting
Just ordered the book from Amazon. I love your style! I enjoy your podcast very much, please don’t stay away so long!!❤
Thank you for your kind words ❤️
I have that book as well, WildernessKnits. I have knitted the Wilderness pullover and the Storm Sweater. I could knit every one of these sweaters ❤ 🇨🇦🥰Sharon.
It’s a great book! I could easily knit them all too ❤
Nice to see you again in your cosy home.. loving new hair style... I know you get your buttons from Boyes but Hemswell building 2 have some very nice vintage buttons. Hope to meet you in your lovely shop in spring..
Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely go and check it out. I love a good look round in Hemswell. I’ve never spotted buttons there! Xx
@KnitsFromLincolnshire there is an area in the building on the left of the main building with Cafe. It looks very much like an old vintage haberdashery shop linen lace etc. And on counter lots if packets of buttons I've bought quite a few... I think you are an incredible knitter...
Oh I knit a shrug in Drops Alaska…it does lie. My garment is like a suit of armor- mine was colorwork so it was even more dense. I gave it to a kiddo in my neighborhood and she loved it.
Such a shame! I love drops yarns, but this one appears to be an off one 🙈
Beautiful sweaters! A couple more patterns in my ever growing favourites list...
For your going out sweater you could hold the mohair double on a larger gauge. 10 balls should be plenty. I have knitted the Light_Loop_Sweater by Other Loops and I love it. It is see-through and I wear a camisole underneath. The needles are bigger than you like but because you keep the tension low and the fabric weighs nothing it didn't bother my hands at all. Right now I am working on a modiefied Juntu sweater by Tiina Huhhtaniemi/Tuku Wool. I am using a single strand of mohair and went up to 6mm needles to get close to gauge. It's not finished yet but I think it will turn out amazing. This one is very see-through but again, with a tank top or camisole it looks great. I have saved a bunch of these type of sweaters (that are meant for single or double strand of mohair so no mods necessary). Can't wait to cast on another one! Next might be the Bouse No. 1 light
I absolutely love Light Loop Sweater! It’s gone straight into my favourites ❤️
