@@livingtribunal4110 Not true. Some of the people you see showing off their bodies at the beach/bars might be there to show what they've prepared at the gym. Rest assured it's not every Brazilian who is fit. And gym culture is a huge part of the life of a beach city.
@@livingtribunal4110 It has a lot to do with the socioeconomic status of the population. Go to a corresponding zone to this in Athens, like Monastiraki, and you'll see a similar scenario, wealthier people tend to be fitter and better looking. On the other hand go to a more run down zone of Brazil (or Greece, or anywhere) and it won't look like this at all.
