What is wrong with her? It makes me sick to my stomach. She also gushes about how strong Maisy is and says very little about Wesley. That sweet boy had surgery. I consider that to be far more scary than anything Maisy went through. She was stable through her time in NICU and just needed more time. Surgery is a big deal for an infant even if it's for routine reasons. Maisy most likely would have come home sooner if Colleen actually went to the hospital more to help the nurses.

@@AshleyVlach you'd be surprised. When my sister in law went into labor at 33 weeks, she was not as alarmed either, watching Colleen heartbreakingly realize just how tiny and just how serious and severe this was, it's very clear on the vlogs she had been avoiding reading too much on the topic. She says in one of the videos that she intitially thought after arriving to the hospital, that they would monitor her for a few days, give her steroids to strengthen babies lungs and then she would have a C-section and it would be ok. I think having Flynn at around 35 or 36 weeks and him being completely healthy and fine and able to go home and not need any help, despite being a month early, can also distort your understanding. This was the case for my sister in law. She had two babies back to back, they are 11 months apart in age. Both were premature but the first one was born at like, 35 weeks and he was small but ok and able to go home quickly and not be in the NICU but her second baby was born at 32 weeks(well 32 and a half) and if you arent someone who spends their time reading a lot about pregnancy and development, if you just aren't the type to handle medical stuff, it just sounds like a few weeks difference and it's easy to tell yourself it's not THAT MUCH earlier than the first healthy premature baby, which is obviously a very very incorrect assumption to make, those extra few weeks are so critical in preparing baby for the world, but like Colleen, my sister in law wasn't at all prepared for the vast difference in having a 32 week baby and a 35 week baby. Her second baby was flown in a helicopter to a better hospital shortly after birth and was in the NICU for a long time. I vividly remember her being like "I don't get it. I don't get why he's struggling so much more than Cade did"
I think both Colleen and my sister in law understood that a 32 week old baby would be very small, but I don't think they understood how very different of a experience having a baby born around 35-36 weeks can be, compared to 32 weeks and that the first premature baby experience going smoothly, gave a false sense of "ok this isn't good but it's going to be fine"

@@Juwlz I agree with you that sometimes people behave differently in the moment than they should. But to say she didn't know how serious it could be is false.
She said at least a couple of times in the days or couple of weeks leading up to the birth that she knew she'd probably need a c-section, knew they would be premature and need the nicu, she knew Wesley was breech, she knew she had cholestasis (which she had with Flynn and so was aware of the seriousness of it), and to top it all off she'd been having contractions all night. So when her water broke she would immediately have known that the contractions she thought were Braxton Hicks were actual labour contractions and that she'd been having them for hours. With a breech twin pregnancy at only 32 weeks. How you don't rush to the hospital at that point, especially after speaking to the doctor the first time... I can't get my head around that.
Even if she did think they were just going to monitor her as she said in a later video, idk, maybe make priority one getting to the hospital per your doctor's orders just to be sure everything's ok and then do your hair and makeup in the hospital bed if you have to. Why even take the slightest chance, you know? It's not like she didn't have the info.

Sorry to be a skeptic but I feel like a lot of this was pretty generic e.g
    - them being born 2 mins apart, this is really common with twins I’ve met many who are 2 mins apart.
    - Holding hands I mean also generic to think about the bonds twins have, people assume they’ll be close like that but maybe this one. Idk.
    - The birth is gonna happen fast - it’s very common for your second time to be fast.
    - Writing and stage work - also you’ve been doing that for a long time it’s basically your whole career!
    - money anxiety - I mean having 3 children is pretty expensive 😂

Shouldn’t have the ‘’psychic’’ seen her water breaking extremely early and the twins life being in danger as a result? Wesley did not choose to break his water or let his cord fall out. He was closest to the exit and had Maisy pushing down on him with contractions. She should have been in the car as soon as the water started to break because she was high risk. Again common sense is lacking here. Would she have the same commentary if M was on the bottom? Kids blame themselves for everything, I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it will be for him to hear this come out of his mothers mouth.

You didn't rush to the hospital, you spent your time messing about doing your hair and make up etc. YOU are the reason for not rushing to the hospital that you had complications because you knew you was high risk. You knew the risks of them coming early, you know all the risks, no one is to blame but YOU. Your attitude towards Wes is literally disgusting. I was in early labour from just after 35 weeks everytime i had a thought my daughter could arrive, I rushed. Didn't care about my hair and make up, my daughters safe arrival was the most Important thing to me. If anything had happened during the twins birth, it was YOUR fault.

You also project disturbing ideas about body image to minors. You also get away with saying egregiously cruel things about your baby son. Wesley is not to blame for anything. How sick are you?
