I love how Matt is absolutely terrified riding passenger, yet calm as a cucumber even when about to roll, and even rolling the jeep.
To be fair.... he had no seatbelt in a soft top. 🤣
I think a lot of passengers would benefit from a dummy steering wheel.
If Matt were able to pretend he was driving it would’ve quelled his fears.
@@mydogsnameisbob I think that was the reason he looked worried as well. Rolling, being ejected through the roof and then rolled on was a highly probable outcome.
@@vincentkeyes3304 The problem later on in the faded Jeep was that Matt's dummy steering wheel wasn't in the passengers seat but the drivers seat. 🤣😂

I always admired your ability to turn a car on a spot. With the Banana and the Morrvair this is impressive, but with this junk-car, in this terrain I find it mind-blowing!

The amount of times I gut busted laughing is insane. Watching those front tires on the pink jeep dance around was hilarious. “Matt what’s your strategy for getting it down the hill with no steering box?” Matt- “yes”
Have to say this is one of the BEST episodes you’ve made. Matt looks truly terrified when he was the passenger. Laughing and even sometimes crying. Glad everyone had a good time and survived.
When I was a kid there was those remote controlled toy cars you could get if you couldn't afford a radio controlled car. They had two modes: full speed straight forward, or full speed turning right backwards. Nothing else. I don't know why they came to my mind now. 🙂

My first remote control car had a wire attached from the remote to the car I was kind of bummed ha.

I've watched 3 versions of this and I have laughed my rear off every time! Bleeping Matt's jeep had a sticker: take your top off.... they did! 😆 I'm seriously impressed with MORR Matt's pink jeep. That is a testament to that brand. "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye".... headlight. A great time was had by all. You guys keep wheeling and we'll keep watching ❤️. OMG, I just had a PTSD moment watching Matt as a passenger. I was a passenger on a far far less treacherous trail. I unlatched my seatbelt thinking I had a moment to fix something jabbing me under the seatbelt. Just at that moment the Jeep launched me into the roll bar head first. Stars everywhere followed by pain, fear and concern for what just happened to me. I couldn’t even speak to let the driver know I was in trouble and he kept driving throwing me around like a rag doll. I’m still here but I might not have been. Watching Matt hang on with all his strength knowing there is no way he can hold himself in place in the case of a really hard jolt. DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS.
Yea...I cannot give this video a 'like'. And if Bleepin' Jeeps videos are like this (no safety measures) I will not bother to watch his channel. Sorry, not impressed.

What wasn't shown on camera was the crusty cloth competition - to see whose drawers had the most fill.
It seems like bleepin Matt lost all faith in banana Matt's ability to keep them alive after the roll, but was committed to ride shotgun to the end. Kudos for seeing it through!
Matts rock crawling in reverse was more like a controlled fall with moments of aggressive throttle.
Great video, had me rolling and in tears. And I’m an old 73 year old guy trying to get up off the floor. The Morrvair is a monster.
Oddly, this reminded me of an episode of Cheers when Sam had sold his corvette and bought a Volare. He arrived at work early and they commented how fast he’d gotten there. His response (paraphrasing) “it’s amazing how fast you can go when you don’t care about your car”
Matt is talented and yes it's easier when you don't care if you break it but going down in reverse sliding around by spinning the tires that was insane

After watching this awesome video, I have 2 thoughts:
1 Matt is a madman who hides it very well (most of the time)
2 The Morrvair is a superior trail machine, in a class of it's own 👏👍
I'm confused. I thought the rusty old Wrangler did the trail no probs but the Morvair failed miserably and needed winching?

The Morrvair effortlessly crawled over the trail like a boss unscathed
The winching in no way removes points, it just shows the owner loves hes Morrvair

I've always thought video of some of the rock crawling we do looked VERY underwhelming. You just can NOT get it to capture how steep things are. wide angle cameras really flatten everything out. This, however, looked CRAZY and I think I've learned, if you want to give your wheeling proper context, you just need to film Matt riding shot-gun from the inside, because that looked TERRIFYING!!! This was an awesome segment!
P.S. I look just as frightened as Matt does when I ride passenger too. Something about control. LoL. It takes a special kinda person to ride and not drive.
P.P.S. I'm REALLY glad you didn't roll that first round, because Matt really needed to be strapped in...not being critical, I was just really worried for him if that went over. It wouldn't have gone well.
The whole video was fun but the very end was a HOOT! Bleppin Colt is a gentle Teddy Bear beast!
I knew Colt was big, but gawrsh, seeing him at the end next to arguably the Giant of MORR, WOW! Best scene of the whole episode.
I could've sworn Tucker was taller, but only 6.1? He's just big width wise due to building muscle and has a mighty thick waste and likely his natural stance is barrel chested to begin with, so he looks quite large, but dang, Colt is even more so.
Came to see the wrecker this morning but instead had some of the best laughs that I’ve had in a long time. Woke up all my kids with my laughing.
That entire first trip down I couldn't help but bust out laughing the whole time. Watching Matt's (W) face, and his dire struggle to hold onto 'anything', was f'n hilarious! And then you could tell Matt was just trying to beat the time, no matter what it took. That looked like the best time had ever, and I have to say I'm a bit jealous. Keep em coming guys.

Never laughed so much during a MORR vid - nor experienced the level of astonishment! at what derby-drivin' -N- wheelin' gives to the driver's repertoire... absolutely fantastic run down that hill in that pink Cherokee, Matt. Funny, too, is before I ever knew of MORR I had watched Bleepin' Jeep and their escapades with their new Coleman minibikes... that was two years ago, prit'much.
10:14 proves to me what I've been saying for the longest, Matt's a hell of a driver. I'll definitely hit the trails with him any day.

That was a lot of fun guys. Loved the editing and the whole VS. idea. Although I would have preferred that the occupants’ safety had been better attended to. I laughed plenty. That squirrelly backward driving on the boulder strewn ground was breathtaking. Derby drivers are very proud for ya Matt. Thanks for the time consuming production. Been a Bleepin Jeep fan almost as long as I been a fan of Matt's Off Road Recovery. The look on your face is how my wife looks when we go wheeling. Granted the trails I take her on are a whole lot tamer. Had I tried taken her on Trail 15, she would have gotten out and walked. Plus I would still be in the doghouse. Really enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing.
