Great video. Glad to see Dirrell working with Floyd Sr. Although his uncle and grandfather already taught him how to box it looks like Sr. has some different things to teach him too. This is actually one of my favorite pad work videos of the Mayweathers now because the fact that the two arent use to each other Sr goes into detail about how he teaches his style of boxing, thte same style of boxing that made Floyd Mayweather jr an all time great.

You know what I never thought Floyd Sr was too special as a fight night cornerman but in that gym training it a COMPLETELY different story. So glad he tighten up that defense for Dre.

He's trying to get him use to the double jab before and after combinations. So he sticks to a simple 1-2-3 but with a double jab to start and end it, that's all. Trying to break him out of that 1 punch at a time stuff.

Cubans love this guy and he is undefeated in the fans book that's including the gold medal he was stripped off in the olympics.

is floyd he full time trainer now then? I think a lot of people wrote Floyd off after training Hatton, but it just wasn't right between them. Doesn't mean Hatton's a shit fighter, and doesn't mean Floyd's a shit trainer. But yeah I think Dirrell would really benefit under Mayweather....you can see him thinking and learning in this video!

Garbage choreographed mitt routine. He trains every single fighter the same way. I mean he tried to train Hatton, a straight up slugger, to box. Taught Hatton this bullshit routine and look what happened to him. If you want to see a real mitt routine, watch Freddy Roach.
