    Well I guess that is my next project. That is the easiest chair tutorial I have seen. And you are such a sweet lady wishing all those who are suffering well. Just a really nice thing. Thank you for being you.

    Best mini chair DIY ever! Simple instructions and easy construction. I will make this chair, for sure, and matching sofa using same technique, but will make legs more substantial. I may even use wood for bottom of chair to give it a little weight. Thank you for sharing.

    My heart goes out to our brothers and sisters in Canada. Even where I live, in the U.S., we’ve had smoke from the wild fires. And the people of Hawaii, were praying for your recovery from such devastating losses.

    • @pennyssmallspaces
      @pennyssmallspaces  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Pamela, I know the smoke as really affected our neighbours to the south this year. Forest fires are pretty common here, especially on the west coast, however this is as bad as I have ever seen them. Houses and even towns can be rebuilt but the loss of lives in Hawaii is heartbreaking.

    Brilliant! So simple, yet so effective. So many miniaturists make SUCH a production out of something as simple, yet elegant as this. That is why I (almost religiously) follow you and two-three other crafters............thank you! And as an aside, thank you for your compassion - it seems we all need a bit now and then.

    Oh my goodness, I don’t know why but haven’t been getting notice of this whole series, now have several to catch up on. I loved the farm house one so I’m sure will enjoy this one as well. I agree the fires have been wild this year even as far as Manitoba we are getting the smoke.

    Hi Penny, long-time subscriber here, love your channel. I actually made this chair, but not without some confusion. It seems that in your description cutting list, you need to say to cut 2 backs, 2 bases, 2 seats, and 4 arms (not 2). Might save others some trouble in the future because it says to cut 1 of everything except the arms. Best wishes to you and thanks so much for all your wonderful videos.

      @@pennyssmallspaces Penny, so glad if my comment was helpful. I am also wondering - you have the seat depth 3mm shorter than the base depth - so the seat I just made doesn't come to the front of the base because it is 42mm instead of 45 like the base. I will have to remake it at 45mm, because I see in the video that your seat is the same depth as the base, yes? Which would make the dowel lengths also 45.

    • @pennyssmallspaces
      @pennyssmallspaces  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@deniselocke559 Oh geez, you are right again! I had to pull out the chair and re-measure to be sure. If you watch that part of the video, I actually wrote 45mm on the piece so why I typed 42 is a mystery. Again my apologies! 🙈
