Fantastic. I am trying to make my first dollhouse (or should I say, an outback shack). I am hoping to replicate the home my mother grew up in. It was built in the twenties and I was wondering how to attempt a sliding vertical window and voila I came upon your site today. I will have to watch your whole project now as it looks very impressive. What an undertaking. Thank you for sharing. Cheers from Robyn in Western Australia ❤
Hi Robyn! Making your Mothers childhood home is going to be awesome!! I would love to see it. Try this video for windows. It helped me so much! Tiny Miniature Things (TMt) th-cam.com/video/lsohttWDZho/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uBPF3b9vr2f9Qoho I am actually very excited to work on this project in 2024. Thank you for watching!! XOXO Heather
This is really nice and I started watching RichMiniatures channel and just love those guys. I now have so many more videos popping up on my feed which is great. Thank you for sharing ❤😊
Great video, trying my hand at making the windows. I am building a NOT screen-accurate Grimmauld Place from the Harry Potter books. Trying to figure out how to make the windows and the Georgian architecture is a learning adventure. The house has windows similar to the Bennet house so I will have to adapt a bit, but this has been very helpful. Thank You. Jenn.
Amazing! I can't believe you cut out all those little window divisions! I have made some lattice windows, but I use black matte 1/8" art tape, and just overlap the long lines. I would go bonkers cutting out every little division! ❤
Happy New Year Siennaflower! I bet the lattice windows are pretty. I have actually seen people use black electric tape to give that look in life size. It is very cool! Heather
Hello, great tutorial, they are called sash windows, they work with a weight and a cord/rope thats buried inside the frame and wall each side of frame, Happy New Year and Best wishes from Yorkshire England 🇬🇧 😊
Hello Diane64yorks! Those rope/cord windows are my favorite. So pretty. Thank you so much for commenting and watching. Happy New Year from W. Virginia! Heather
These windows are gorgeous! And of course functional windows are the dream! Unfortunately there’s no way that I would have the patience (or the skill) To re-create these.
Hi @kimsimpson1274! I would love it if you shared your windows with me. So fun to see what everyone does. I actually could not find the video I used as a reference for the longest time. Finally found it! Whew! I updated the description and here is the link for you: Tiny Miniature Things (TMt) th-cam.com/video/lsohttWDZho/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uBPF3b9vr2f9Qoho Thanks for being a part of this project! Heather
I absolutely will. I'm remodeling a Greenleaf Arthur house into a farmhouse style yarn shop. I did one double hung window, but not happy with it. (I was winging it) Your method looks more streamlined and finished so nicely. Looking forward to redoing the one and continuing the others with your method :)@@LoveTheLittleHouseMiniatures
Hello @bigdreamer02! Augh! It's not there!! So sorry, I updated the description with the link. But here it is for you: www.patreon.com/posts/bennet-house-96551011 Thank you for catching that. Heather

Is the music really necessary 🥴 if so turn it down a tad so it’s easier to hear….probably just me 🤷♀️
Hi @boniemann! Thanks for the feedback! We love the music! We will make sure we take the sound quality into consideration. Xoxo
Heather
I also prefer quieter music 😃
Hi @lunadargent5292, we are making the music quieter for future videos. It is a hard balance to find but we will get there!
Heather
Hi @SensiblyTina, I admit I have done the same for videos. We are working on a good balance. Thanks for the comment.
