got my bike in the end after a little wait, changed the back wheel hugger with a nice tail tidy and i love the change in looks. I really didn't like the back mudguard and feel it lets the bike down. hade to use the old angle grinder on the universal tail tidy but fits solid and looks awesome!
was getting the Lexmoto lxs, now I'm getting this one. never liked the naked look but this is a gorgeous looking bike, I'm wondering how many dealers have them in. great choice in bike mate
There is quite a few dealers around but they're selling so quick the importer is struggling to keep up with demand, that goes to show just how good the bike is.
Got them via my dealer they're the ones fitted to th U1. I ordered and paid for them £50 including carriage to the dealer and they were at the dealers next day to pick up. Took about 10 minutes to fit them. Apart from looking good they really help keeping the cold air off my hands but best part is keeping the rain off while riding even in heavy rain they keeps my hand fairly dry well worth the cost.
@@michaelcorbett9269 I have yes I got as far as I dare with the engine running about 30 meters I was told when I bought it that it would shut off but it kept running. If I unlock it and ignition is on but engine off and I move 2 meters away after a few seconds it will turn off the ignition a beep a few times but won't lock the steering this is so it can be moved without having to have the ignition on. The steering lock only works when using the lock button on the bars but you can lock it with the bars straight and then turn the bars full left and the steering will lock and it only locks to the left. You can shut the engine off with the kill switch or by putting the stand while in gear. You can start the bike with the stand down in neutral.
Yeah the is L both front and rear. It's 3 points and £100 fine per missing plate. I carry a used L plate which looks like it's just come off just in case I get stopped.
hi mate, I've got a problem with my bike I wondered if you have also run into. when starting the bike and going through the specific procedure I come to pressing the ignition button and nothing no even turning over happens, I try again and again and still nothing. eventually it has started every time but this can go on for 5 minuets or so. this only started to happening this week with nothing going wrong beforehand from when I purchased it. ive told my dealership and they said to film it witch i did today. it starts so far in the mornings like normal but when ive been ridding for a while, turn off the engine and come to switch it back on i seem to encounter this problem. has this happened to you?
No that's not happened to me so I have no answer, but your description sounds just like when trying to start the bike in gear with the stand down, maybe if it happens again just knock it into 1st or 2nd then back to neutral and try again.
@@seangilchrist3102 it could possibly be the switch on the clutch lever it's a micro switch like on the brake lever and if get corrosion or dirty it could fail.
I've no idea as I've not checked. The next nearest shop is only a place I'd use as a last resort. All the rest within a reasonable distance are main dealers, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, KTM and Kawasaki and their rates are higher as it is my dealer charges £70 an hour. Once the warranty runs out I will be self servicing and I will do all the work myself.
@@SkriLLex22525 I still have it. Now 2 years 2 months and 4 days and still running great. I did have a little problem with a couple of electrical connections but that was down to me washing it as it was in a place rain can't get to.
I suppose you could put a hiflo filter on but you would then need to remap the ECU to get the air/fuel mix right even then its not going to give more power. This bike puts out 10.8kw/14.6hp so right on the limit for a CBT. I have found out the bike is restricted to this via the ECU and the engine naturally puts out 18hp also the cat box restricts it. I believe that with a programmable ECU and an aftermarket exhaust it should put out about 20hp and that's the way to go for these bikes.

have you tried walking away from the bike to see if it stops running

Well I have Putoline DX4 10w40 semi in mine but only because that's what my dealer uses. When I do it myswlf I'll use Silkolene Super 4 10w40 semi.
