      @@NamasteTexas - Oh no! This recipe is very sensitive in relation to temperature, duration of baking (e.g., 9 mins side one and 5 + 1/2 mins side two), or the wraps will fall apart. Also, make sure to remove excess water from the riced cauliflower before adding the egg mixture, super important.

    Why did you bake cauliflower in microwave after grinding? Not clear.

    • @TheLowCarbSweetSpot
      @TheLowCarbSweetSpot  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t bake anything in the microwave. I microwave the cauliflower rice to soften it and then ring out the water.
      Then form and bake tortillas. That’s the way the recipe is made.

    • @TheLowCarbSweetSpot
      @TheLowCarbSweetSpot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You may have needed to remove more liquid from the cauliflower rice, or the eggs you're using may have been smaller and they could have needed a bit more to bind them together. Adding an extra egg white could help keep them together. The consistency of the mix should be slightly wet but not runny.
      Also, the size of your cauliflower head, that you used 3/4 of, could vary in weight. The amount of cauliflower rice needed is about 750g.
      I hope that helps.

    I see that the instructions say that dryer the cauliflower is the better. I love oatmeal, but can't eat because it rises my blood sugar too much. I've tried making cauliflower oatmeal (without oatmeal of course🤣) and it slightly still had the smell of cauliflower even though I tried to mask it with spices. BUT I recently found out that if you put ONLY the cauliflower in pan on stove, medium heat until no moisture then add butter, spices, etc... it tastes just like oatmeal. I said all this 🤣 to say do you think drying out cauliflower in pan first will work for making the tortilla recipe? Thank you!
