Fury born and raised in Chelsea projects, Manhattan Splash & Slaze hailing from Flatbush, Brooklyn tell there story of how they linked up.
Historically England had looked to the united states as the birth place of hip hop to listen to the most talented rappers arising from New York City the Mecca of rap! What makes GDG unique is they spotted the many talents coming out from the united kingdom and chose to react to it from across the pond.
GDG aren’t just any old TH-camrs they have created unique relationships with lead players within the uk music industry interviewing the likes of K Koke, Giggs, Ghetts, Wretch 32 to name a few.
During this podcast ASB put them through their steps testing there knowledge on UK music, also ASB sensed there maybe a little biased energy towards Fredo, Nines & Ratlin so ASB addressed the elephant in the room as UK music has come to far for any industry politics to ruin it!

@@realtalktrustories6480 Firstly The earliest known use of the adjective slick is in the Middle English period (1150-1500) Secondly he had the least American accent of any hip hop hall of famer. He basically had an English name, rapped in an English accent and wore a 👑, he emodied his English heritage as much as anyone else you can name.

Personally i feel like the UK golden era was from 2017-2020 when the culture travelled massively overseas and ppl started doing reacts and becoming interested. 2020 onwards theres only been a handful of projects that cut the mustard. Standout artists have been jhus and potter payper cause i feel they pretty much carried UK rap this decade as best projects. Like if we were giving 2 albums saying these are the best the UK has produced this decade.
