Schmidt is a very good company out here in Colorado. They tend to get a lot of the paving contracts by cities and counties. Martin Marietta is the same way. Kewit and Wildcat construction get the majority of Cdot's contracts as well.

You should add a hot rubberized crack sealant around the edge.
Looks like a type of Cole mix, so it won't be water-tight anyways.

roadways are not that old. asphalt roadways have 25 year lifespan. concrete is 20-40 years. i doubt we are still using a roadway from 1776.
