I HAVE TO VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS : (i watched all your videos )
#1- where did you get these done and by what dentist ?
    #2-how much did they cost?
I love how natural they look, they aren't big and long like a horse, they look so damn good!! i am in N.Y...

I got them done at The University of Minnesota Dental School, Prosthodontics Department. The Dentist is John Keyes, he is done with Grad School, so now he works in Victoria, BC, Canada, at Vancouver Island Prosthodontics. And Thank You for the Compliments.

Interesting. I never thought about it feeling different at first but i guess it makes sense.

Yeah, It took me a while to train myself every day to talk with new and different teeth, I would start the day sounding a bit slushy and my speaking would get better throughout the day, then the next day I would start all over again until the muscle memory worked itself out over a week or 2.

Hey Jay! I just stumbled upon your videos. I've had a really long journey. Just had my lower teeth extracted about 3 weeks ago, so I know I can't talk implants on the lower arch yet. Headed on Thursday to an oral surgeon to talk about my upper arch for implants. Thank you for your insight on implants. Uppers were taken out 3 years ago and never could acclimate to the denture itself.
I've also found a place a couple of hours away from me in the next state over. May go see them also for a consultation, but waiting to see what the first oral surgeon has to say.

Food does get under them almost every time I eat, you usually just have to swish a little water to get the food out, you'll get use to it.

tell me what you think of clear choice vs Mexico dental implants ?

    • @jaygray4700

Ummmmmmm........... You can look up a woman on youtube called June Penny, she had implant's in Mexico and could answer that better than I could, I think she had got mini implants top and bottom and she made a few videos about her process in Mexico. And I would ask around to find people who actually went to Clear Choice and ask them if they liked it. I personally went to the U of Minnesota Graduate Prothodontic's Department, It takes longer to go there but many think it is less expensive. I would at the very least make an appointment to ask them about the process and the cost. I had an appointment with a Clear Choice Dentist, he suggested U of M Dental School. You live really close to it so it is an option.

I thank you for all of the informational videos. Can you give me any recommendations between choosing a hybrid denture and an overdenture/snap in for the upper jaw? I know about the differences in cost and how they are made and work. It is how they are to live with that I am trying to clearly grasp. In your videos you talk about how difficult it is every day cleaning under yours. People with overdentures say they are bulky and affect taste. Which is the worst of the 2 evils, in your opinion? That is if you know people with overdentures. I will have to fly to my prosthodontist, so I want to make up my mind before I go. Thanks.

I do NOT have the kind that snap in, but people who do have them say they are a lot easier for cleaning both the bridges and the implants. Mine do take a while to clean, but I do NOT mind it I am use to it. I know the snap ins have to have gaskets changed once in a while, that is pretty much the one thing that is different. You need to decide what you would prefer. Do you like the idea of taking them out to clean every day, then the snap ins are for you. I personally did NOT know anyone with the snap ins, I ONLY knew people with the type I have, so I decided to get what they got because they liked them and for many they wanted their teeth to be closer to natural and wanted to brush with them in, but others like to take them out a few times a day and probably clean them a little easier.

hi jay.! i really like your videos.. it gives me courage to try and have an implant for myself...i have a question..do you really have to practice your speech or does it go back naturally..and how many days or months did your speech sound naturally right.??

Thanks for taking the time to watch and for the kind words.
It did take about a week or maybe a little longer to retrain myself how to talk clearly.

I just turned 39, I hit my mouth on the steering wheel many years ago, I had my teeth fixed the first time with caps and crowns, than I had infections, then a partial, so I wanted implants, it took over 8 years to be able to get them.

      Thanks for the reply...
I need to fix only one teeth in the gap. I went to the doctor and after x-ray he suggested me to do one teeth implanting.
Idk why but just scared of implanting .
      1.Should I go for it?
      2.Will it hurt?
3.Is there any chances of getting infection? This is my biggest concern.
      Need your opinion on it..
      Thanks :)

It is up to you, they also have it so you can get caps over the teeth next to the gap and have a bridge filling in the space, but an implant would be more permanent, you would need to talk to your dentist about the risks of having any surgery done.
