Great video dude. Was nice to see someone explain the basic functions rather than just showing off with their beats and going crazy deep on the back end of it.
Dude I already follow you on Instagram. I was searching around for my first drum machine and a video by you popped up and I was like hey! I know that guy from Instagram! I should’ve just asked you man haha
Where is the difference in regards to working and playing with samples to like a volca sample 2? Can the tr 6s do the same things with samples like the volca sample 2?
I believe the tr6s is a bit more of an in depth drum machine. There are similarities. You would have to weigh the features you’re looking for vs the price you’re willing to pay.
@@marcosrotllan Volca Sample is a underestimated lil music weapon. Yes its limited feature set compared to tr-6s but the lofi Akai sound is unique in itself and very capable
Dude!!! Awesome I picked one up too!! Holy s*** it’s so awesome. Made my rig come alive. Best video so far bro simply awesome. Great work. So when’s the new album? 😂
Hi great channel, just found you. Iam new to jamming. I am planning to buy a yamaha reface dx and I am looking for a portable drummaschine to combine it with. I wanna jam/create Synthie-Pop, Acid House, Funk, disco, lofi filter house…everything groovy (Chromeo drums are my favs), so the drum sounds should go into those directions. The Roland 707 has the perfect sounds for me, that 80s vibe and claps are awesome. I wanna be able to lay down drum patterns easy, quick and performe with it (using FXs, bringing sound in and out..) and just looping around, having fun with a drummaschine and a synth. The possibility to load samples on it, would be cool too. What drummaschine/gear would you recommend? Is the Roland TR-6s the right choice? What looper would you recommend to loop the reface dx and the drummaschine? Something simple. I wanna stay dawless and portable (batteries). Or has the TR-6s a loop function, where I can loop the reface dx and the drums from the tr6s? Thanks😊
Really nice video! Love the samples you've got going. By the way, I assume, since you can link together different patterns, you can also just select patterns it should jump to at the end of the sequence? I.e. I make a couple beats on 1 and 2 for verses, a chorus on 3 and a variation thing on 4, then press play and I can just press the individual patterns and it'll switch as it passes the last entry? I don't know if that's a stupid question, just never used a physical one myself. Good work on this, anyhow! Looking forward for more stuff from you! P.S. Maybe you've fixed it already, but otherwise I would check the auto-focus setting on your camera. Seems like it was vibing out as well.
Yes. You can create several variations, and use them for different parts of your song. However, as far as I can tell, you cannot set them to trigger automatically without tying them all together. My goal is to make the digitakt do that for me. I have fixed my camera. That was The problem
love the digitakt light label. waiting on mine now. thanks for sharing your tips and guidance. great content here!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video! Finally bought one because of this vid!
I hope you like it
Great little box! 😎

That is something I noticed with other tr6s videos. A lot of explaining, not enough doing. I appreciate you!
Hey, great work on this! Liam Killens video on the TR-6S brought me here. Hope to hear more from you!
4:04 i like how the camera is vibing out to the beat! btw... are you, *Spagett?*

How is it going a year+ later?
@@brwnb0ymusic sold it because we decided to get travelling. Now just have Mpc one + sp404mk2
I would like try to use external effect pedal to make that sound more punchy. How you see it? Thanks
It’s worth a shot but there are a few built in effects to play with on the tr6s
Great video man, I want this thing
Thank you so much. Honestly, I’m loving this thing!
Great video!
Thank you so much!
Would love to see how you edit your samples!
Been looking everywhere for that… can’t find it…

Volca sample 2 has nothing to do against tr6s

You’re more than a drum machine
Debatable
Nice video, thanks. Digitakt light 👍
But it’s battery powered so you can play with it on the couch or in a park. Definitely a cool device
Thats realy nice

Hey there, love the vid! Are you connecting the TR-6S directly to the speakers? Which cables are you using?
I’m using the stereo output into my interface
I’m using mogami cables
