KING TIDE + HURRICANE WAVES! Angry Haulover!

so rare to see these big waves in South Florida! Miami is known for calm seas and small waves, but hurricane ian plus a king tide bring "giant" waves south. If you from the north east coast of the USA this wave size is not rare.

The drone shots are by far the best. I love the angle from behind the boats going in/out of the inlet as it gives you the captains perspective on conditions. Really well done. Also love the other shots of the area to show those abnormal conditions as well.

Drone video is awesome. Love the close-up looks of the boats as well as the high pov. Feels much closer to the action. The surfers are not far enough out. Looks like the biggest swells are further offshore! ;) Nice to see your posts again Zip and thanx for the merch!

Wait, a drone following a boat at those distances is an invasion of privacy? I think people are looking too hard to be offended these days. I bet sometimes when you’re out driving your car, there are cars right next to you, so close that they can see right into your car. They might even video you picking your nose or adjusting your bra. In these drone videos, the drone is so far away you can barely even see the people, if at all.
