Hi Tony! Off subject, but Haliburton not playing in the Olympics was the best thing that could have happened for him. He will come into the season with a chip on his shoulder and ready to prove he’s as talented as Anthony Edwards. On the team in 2 years: Hali, Nembhard, Furphy, Nesmith, and Sheppard
I think you underestimated the chances that it isn't Obi but Nembhard or Nesmith who are traded in a tax avoidance move. Also, you need to create a slot for our next #1 draft pick.
@@LockedOnPacers I think that it does when the two people on the podcasts are clear homers for him. I like nembhard but theirs a clear bias. He doesn’t fill a position of need and resigning McConnell signals that nembhard is more expendable since hes better at pg than at sg.
@@RedemptionInChrist. I don't get how thinking he is good = homers. I would think he's good on any team. They signed Nembhard to an extension before McConnell. I hardly think they are related.
Imagine if they'd had common sense. Kept their picks, did what OKC did getting Hartenstein and Caruso. Then prioritize signing OG in the off-season. Or getting another solid SF/PF and a minimum SF if needed. Had all those picks and next year's..
@warlockmagic3416 I'm not sold on those OKC pickups. They are both borderline starters. Everyone forgets that Hartenstein was the Knicks backup center. Caruso may be a better fit for OKC, but I don't think he's the better player.
OG is a fucking meme at this point in his career. Signing him here would have meant another rebuild in 3 years. One of the most overrated players in the league.
Yeah I'm not sure how you realistically do these things. OG is making 40m a year as well. Pacers wouldn't have had that much in cap space without Siakam. Let alone adding Hartelstein as well. You come up with a lot of scenarios that just aren't reasonable.
I saw a trade for Tari Eason for Obi and a 1st round pick from the Pacers. That would be a great trade for the Pacers and he can guard both forward positions. If we could get Neemias Queta from the Celtics and keep Myles that would give us a more traditional big man off the bench. I believe Mathurin will be traded because he wants to start and he’ll be the one if we try to get a big name player in a trade who gets moved
I think you have Drew too high. Because he's very good on a very tradable deal. The Pacers are going to get offers if he's close to the player he was in the post-season. They have Mathurin, Nesmith, and Shepherd, who can play the two guard plus. TJ as backup. I think Drew and Obi are the most tradable contracts.
@TheAnanaki I think Drew is worth a massive amount to a team that doesn't have a top ten point guard. The Pacers still need length at the small forward.
If you want a Center who can shoot the 3 ball, good shot blocking and rebounds like a 6'0" guard. Then yes Turner is your guy. But I beg to disagree that Turner is the end of all. I would rather have the Pacers start I.Jackson along with the likes of a Jonathan Kuminga.
Ijax is entirely too small to start full time at C. He has center skillset in Paul George body type. No clue how we are getting anything like Kuminga with our current money situation.

And less risk he got hurt )
Not Myles 😂
If Pacers stay healthy= LOCK top 4 in the EAST!!!! They are the most underappreciated team in the NBA!

They'll have plenty of slots for that pick between Wiseman/Johnson/Brown/Swider/Jackson etc
@@LockedOnPacers sure there are plenty of slots for the draft pick but if you are ranking their probability, I'd put it in the top 5.
3 players on the team in 2 years Haliburton , Siaka, Turner.. Fill out the team around that trio
Yeah, like that older guy Pascal. They could trade him. 😅
Who would have guessed the nembhard bias would show big time 😂
I don't think that thinking he's good = bias

How would they have been able to get Hartenstein even with their picks?

I woudl do that. Not sure the Rockets would.

If you think Drew is going anywhere while Rick is here then my friend I'm not sure what team you ha e been following 😂

Pacers aren't trading McConnell, so 3. The fans would go nuts, and no other team will offer enough for a player his age.
The best pt. tandem in the NBA by. far!!!!!

Still for the life for meivenever understood why we never tried myles and ijax, ijax can guard perimeter! Too Late sadly.

Me too and I hope they trade him this year so I can talk 💩 about how horrible the centers are on this team
