I hope you all can keep this format and team for the long run - the balance of personality and overall depth of knowledge - feels like just some bros hanging out - just smarter with the takes!
This has turned into a must listen/watch every ep. Haven’t been around for long but y’all definitely will get to a place of success. Love hearing Joel beef with everyone and drew say his fav words 100x a pod. Much love from San Antonio, Tx
Just discovered this podcast and I'm loving it. The mix of knowledge, personalities, and passion is dope. And Riv bringing the heat and raining facts on my Bulls yessssir!!!
Last 6 games for Curry: 22ppg on 33%FG. Last 6 ganes for Harden: 23, 8 and 14 on 42%FG. One player is slowing down and the other is getting better and ofc the media won't mention that bc the media gotta protect Curry
Congrats on 10k! I found y’all during the NBA draft process looking for Rockets videos and I’ve been watching ever since. 2022 gonna be a special year for y’all.
Congrats my boys!!! I started watching you guys last year and I couldn’t be prouder of how far y’all have come and i love supporting you guys ! You guys seems like just real real genuine people in general and that’s what makes this podcast so great. And one day i gotta meet you guys Imma make it out to jersey !
It wasn't Donovan that made the Jazz an instant contender. The Jazz have the best record in the NBA since 2016-2017. That was when Gordon Hayward was there. The constant on the team in that period is Rudy Gobert. You are correct. The Jazz need better perimeter defenders. Rudy is not unplayable. He got pulled away from the basket when Terrance Mann got hot. He wasn't able to be there to cover bad perimeter defense. Not exactly what I would call being unplayable. And lastly, Rudy guards the perimeter very well on switches. Check out his defensive iso numbers verses guard. One of the very best in the NBA.
Joel be the worst part of this show sometime 3:01:56 he won’t say it but he really looks up to skip bayless he just said holding the ball don’t matter now touches to score only to backtrack and say touches now matter RIV is the only one that truly hold his feet to the fire.
Bane is much more than a catch and shoot player. Jas defense isn't as good mentally than physically. Tyus is a smart player who can make his rotations on defense which means more turnovers and aggression from brooks, and other wings. Steven adams is also getting more touches and involvement on offense.
Yo that jc and riv clip about Brooklyn had me dead. Also for drew, lamelo is a decent tick above ANT. Ant is an inefficient ball pounder(pause). He could be a great player, but he could also just be what he is now.
The comment hes right because hes a billionaire is not true. Having money doesn't make you right. Also Lavar be tripping on trying to unvalidate Mj, which when it comes to Baskets its undeniable you can learn from him. However Lavar did stuff for his sons MJ didn't do and most men hacent ever dine publicly for their sons. He made the game so much better as well as a whole culture not just individually.

2 of the most unreachable NBA records: John Stockton's 15,806 assists, 3265 steals. No-one is even close or on track to beat it, and the game may have changed too much to challenge the assist total.
Cant wait to be able to say I saw you guys really come up and grow into a big time NBA/NFL Podcast. It’s inevitable at this point, keep up the good work fellas
Cavs have way more upside than Pacers right now - look at Garland and Mobley ceilings - pacers going get passed by at this pace - they need to shake it and hope for a high level prospect or they may fall out of even the middle of pack
Pat Bev: Rudy doesn't guard the best players He's right...he does so much more than that. He guards the 15 feet of space that the 'best players' get their easiest buckets from. His most impressive attribute is his intelligence in knowing - and his body's ability to react - on the fly when and where to be on who
Harden is shooting 41% and Curry is shooting 43% like....why's the media only focusing on Harden for struggling when he's been an elite rebounder and passer when Curry is barely shooting any better lol
btw boys, new sub, great work and insight and ya'll more humble and considered and knowledgeable than many of your own contemporaries who have a lot more exposure. keep up what ya'll doing and that will change, and you can bank on that
Indiana and other small market teams should always try to put a competitive team on the court. Rebuilds can work, but there are no guarantees that comes with it. Multiple losing seasons is bad for the players and the fan base. Indiana should trade Turner and get back a useful player back plus a couple of picks. Teams like Indiana need to have a laser focus on player development and drafting ..plus hope for some good luck. No superstar is likely ever going to sign there. I'd rather go watch a team that has a chance to win night n night out than watch one that gets their ass handed to them on a regular basis.
It seems like you don't realize how simple things are Already the Nets will go to the conference finals for the simple reason that just with KD, it took the Bucks 7 games and a toe to win the series and now they don't have PJ Tucker. This time James Harden is here and then you act like they are going to the playoffs without settling the Kyrie story. Whether to bring in players like Ben Simmons or Myles Turner even if I prefer Ben Simmons it would be huge for them defensively and offensively Patty Mills, Lamarcus and Cam Thomas will come off the bench which will boost their bench Now it also depends on the regular season standings otherwise I would say Nets and (between Heat and Bucks) I don't see the Bulls winning against either of those teams for the simple reason that defensively they are not at the level of the Bucks and Heat and offensively they are not above the Nets And they don't have a better bench
Kobe in an interview said “ he’s 6’10 and he can do everything I can do” but now that I googled is actual height he is 6’8. Kobe had me sold on the fact he was 6’10 but I guess he was wrong 🤣
