Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha takes the Razzie award for being the worst drama. The last scene between Saad and Maheer was so passionless/blank that I was fuming over the lackluster/dull performance of Wahaj and Hania. It was such an emotionless performance delivered by both actors that as a viewer I did not even cheer for their happy ending. They did not look like two people in love, rather looked more like acquaintances.

Wahaj and Hania had zero chemistry. Wahaj till date has had the best chemistry with Hiba Bukhari and Yuman Zaidi of course but also in his recent Jurm, his chemistry was good with Tooba Siddiqui. Basically I have noticed Wahaj has the best and most effortless chemistry with good actresses who have good emotional range, and bad chemistry with mediocre actresses like Hania Aamir and Dure Fishan. He really seems to play off his co-stars.

@@sabasadiq3074 I can assure you that Tere Bin had a VERY weak storyline. Almost paper thin by the end. The only reason I started this drama and stuck with it for 6 months was because of Yumna and Wahaj chemistry. I would literally wait for their scenes together. If Hania would have done “Meerab”, I don’t know about others, but it would’ve been a lot easier for me to quit the drama once the plot became senseless.

If Hania had done Tere Bin it would have been very different from Yumna's Tere Bin. We could only judge it if we had seen it. It would not have been the same scenes with Hania's body instead of Yumna's. Hania would have brought hr own feel to the drama. The Tere Bin so many saw and loved was Yumna's Tere Bin. I don't know why people make these comparisons.

Being a huge huge fan of Hania, I must admit MPHT was the biggest dissapointment I got from her. Never seen her delivering such emotionless performance before in any drama. I've no idea what went wrong, was it the downfall of the scrip or failed direction or just simply the lack of enthusiasm from her?? I hope she takes a break and work on her craft and please she needs to choose her scripts carefully as well. It was painful to watch the drama, thank goodness it ended.

MPHT: The entire drama was a huge disappointment. Like we have been noticing from the beginning, actions of any character in the drama didn't make sense. It had a good premise but couldn't translate into a good watch. The last episode was obviously unimpressive, and why are we not surprised. Saad's love for Maheer, which is the running theme of the drama, was finished in a few seconds. Saad awkwardly said I love you and drama is over! I didn't find the last scene cute , as a stand-alone scene may be , but definitely not as the last scene of the last episode. There needed to be so much more about Saad finally expressing what he felt for Maheer all these years and Maheer realizing n reciprocating. But no, the writer's and the director's imagination and creativity are too limited for us to expect anything better.

    • @mmpiali
      @mmpiali ปีที่แล้ว

@user-of8vl7se2k Absolutely. It's quite sad that the makers have no vision or very little understanding of good content. I think they start off with a half-baked script and keep joining the dots abruptly as shooting progresses. I don't think they start with a comprehensive script. No one is expecting a genius or a path breaking storytelling. It's appalling that they can mess up simple family dramas or love stories. Such illogical moves/ actions by the characters in most dramas and the story doesn't come together in the end. Honestly, MPHT has lost a significant number of audiences. If you see the first episode and last, you can tell how many people have quit watching the show. Such amateurish treatment and dialogue, actions, so a lot of sensible audiences couldn't relate to. Also, we have quit watching a lot of dramas mid way. The thing is, the world has a huge population. especially in the countries where the shows are being watched. 10-20 Milion is just a fraction. So the makers are under the illusion the audience is lapping up their s**t fest while in reality majority of the population is not even watching

You do not need friction to develop chemistry. The last scene of MH was also just Hala and Hamza talking, but uff the magic they created, we really felt it. It is not about just casting two good actors, they need to have that spark between them which then resonates with the audience.

Funny how Amna is again ready to stop watching THKN after one so-called slow episode. I mean she can watch show like MPHT for 31 epis and ready to dump THKN. Plus, i feel the romantic element did kick in this epi too. We saw Sikander and Salma caring for each other. Their equation started. And radio wala shayar is like Salma's celeb crush not the love of her life. She was inclined towards Sikander since start and now it was so heart warming when she said - "Main phir bacha lungi use". I enjoyed this episode. Its rare our shows talk about artistic integrity and the price sometimes artists have to pay for standing up for them.

the last scene wasn’t a good scene as the ending of the 32 episode long tiring show, but a good scene individually. had we not known how miserable these characters have been this entire time, we would have enjoyed the last scene more. wahaj and hania’s chemistry definitely seems to be more playful and friendly rather than two people who are in love actually. and i think more than the actors’ fault, it is the writer’s fault for giving them such less scenes together that we can’t see that chemistry. i mean wahaj’s performance as the pyaar mein haara hua aashiq was amazing. but his scenes with hania were just not impactful because we were never given good scenes or even good reasons to root for them or like their chemistry. that is something tere bin did in a brilliant way.

Well MPHT continued it's legacy and disappointed us in last episode also. Firstly, there was no chemistry between lead couple they were so dull and had no romance . Secondly, the writing was very regressive and boring and they stretched the drama unnecessarily plus the actions of the characters didn't make sense to me at all like how could areeb's mother trust faha's accusations when she knew that faha had already threatened them. And at last I would say that i have never been Hania's fan so I don't expect anything from her but i hope that wahaj doesn't choose these kind of regressive shows in future and even if he does commercial project they should make a little sense.

I loved the conversation about excessive consumerism and mindful purchasing.
I'm also trying to focus more on quality when it comes to clothing. I don't think there is anything wrong with luxury as long as you can afford it and it brings you happiness. However, I really feel like it's easy to justify any purchase under the guise of bringing happiness unless you pause for a few days and think it over. Adding something to my wishlist and then going back to it a few weeks later gives an entirely different perspective on whether you truly want it or because of retail therapy.
The discussion about investments and assets was fun to hear about as it was in line with my perspective. Obviously what brings happiness will vary from person to person.
I will admit that I've never understood the need to show off wealth with branded clothing. As you said, brands won't always depict your wealth or add value to it. Some people are obsessed with it and as someone who loves fashion, I feel like it's far more healthier to buy clothing + brands that make you happy and excited to wear them vs obsessed with what a brand will imply about you if you wear it.
I kinda agree with Amna about investments re: needing eveything to increase in value and this being a small mindset. Money will afford you the comforts and experiences you desire. This doesn’t mean everything you buy has to increase in value for a return on investment. But I also see the appeal of those kinds of luxuries that help build wealth giving you a sense of security too. Somethings can just bring you happiness and that's enough for it to be worthwhile.
I hope everyone can find and have their comforts in lives ❤

    #22qadam
I don't think Junaid is two timing. When Liza said that "Dil", he was taken aback. He just ignored it & said that he will do whatever Liza says. She is his comfort zone as his family doesn't live here. He also mentioned that he was missing his mom a lot and so he needed someone to be by his side. Liza being his only friend, he asks her to be by his side.
And at first, he gave yellow flowers which means friendship.
Junaid's attraction towards Fari was evident. He sensed her passion on the first day at ground but was confused. But the next day when he saw her again, his face literally lit up & he knew that she is also passionate just like him. His constant efforts to save her from getting demotivated, his pain when Liza indirectly insulted her and his admiration when Fari gave Liza the challenge... everything spoke louder than anything that he is totally attracted towards her. The way he gave her the advice to go slow was amazing.
So I don't feel, Junaid is two timing neither is he committed to Liza. He admires Liza as his friend and a good cricketer. But the passion that is burning like a fire in his heart is what connects him to Fari.

It was written good and performed good too. I don't think so Junaid is romantically involved in her, when he said, Dill and she inquired Dill?? He got confused for a minute but then go with the flow as if he doesn't get the deeper meaning. MPHT: Was extremely disappointing drama. I watched it to end just for the love of Wahaj. There was absolutely no chemistry between Saad and Maheer. Maheer didn't fall in love with Saad as she said to her mom some things happen for the good, for the will of God and her marrying Saad was one of those things. And I agree Hania should really think about doing some super fun characters in the future.
Jeevan Nagar: yes it's so enjoyable. But I disagree with Hassan, those two characters Guru and Babar Shah are the same. I saw an initial teaser where BS along with his mustache was applying lipstick and dancing in his room. And then asking Rabia Butt's character whether she applies her makeup herself. All in all quite enjoyable.
I haven't started watching 22 Qadam, I'll probably binge watch all the episodes together.
