I enjoy this open-ended thought experiment, and I'm glad you fellas do. It is always interesting, to me, to let possibilities run away with us based on the ideas of infinity and random probabilities and wonder "what if..." It is just as interesting to me that our ability to speculate all of this is based upon what has been discovered through scientific inquiry about physical laws, in a physical universe. To infinity +1
    Fascinating, guys! ;)

It’s silly to go around pretending that just because something extremely improbable is technically possible, that means we can’t know with certainty whether the more probable thing will happen. This is all based on assumptions we don’t know are true. It could be that there are rules preventing spontaneous things like this from happening, it could be that the universe doesn’t actually last an infinite amount of time.
To me this is like an extreme version of doomsday people. Like, yes, one day the world will end if you wait long enough, but you’ll be wrong a near infinite number of times except the one time when you’re right. That’s as close to zero prediction power as possible which means it’s as close to useless to believe it as it is possible. And it’s completely impractical to live your life genuinely being worried that reality will glitch like this because if you were worried about something this unlikely happening, you’d be worried about every moment of existence and would absolutely overwhelmed with nothing except worry. That isn’t a way to life your life both spiritually and practically.
In summary, the point of this video is not to embrace the idea that we can’t know anything with certainty. That’s a silly way of living your life unless you happen to be someone who functions better while believing that. I’m just someone who thinks treating ambiguity as a god and choosing to see the universe as a fundamentally chaotic and unknowable place goes against reality, and it also goes against the way our brains work. Our brains in some sense are assumption machines. Our reality is just a compressed version of reality giving us just enough information to help us survive and no more than that. And compression takes assumption. It’s possible to say you’re not an absolutist, but it’s impossible to actually act as if you believe that because the reality your brain constructs for you is based on assumptions it makes without your input.
So maybe just have fun with thought experiments and acknowledge that the universe is weird and we don’t know everything and probably never will, but also acknowledge that we do know something and it’s practical to assume certain rules will be followed every time. Don’t get lost in mysticism for the sake of mysticism.

Uhh, if something is merely "more probable", then _by definition_ we can't be certain it will happen. If its occurrence was certain, it would be _certain,_ not just _probable._

Love me or hate me… Islam and Quran is the only true explanation of our existence.
People may say I’m biased but
I have researched every religion & science… And then came to this conclusion..
What makes me feel sad is that… How islam is being portrayed in the media is way way different then the actual Islam is. People believe in it or not it’s their choice …. But my opinion will be must give it try before we die.

We hear ya, and the fact that your able to watch video like this one, tells me your open to hearing other views, which I think is a valuable character type, but I'm biased to open mindedness.

I don't think Islam is a solid explanation 😂 if there is a god, then it is a very wild and bizarre thing that we could never understand. More than likely, we are simply the product of a random quantum fluctuation.
