With MIchael Madson in place for vincent vega maybe it would have been an art house film. Travolta was brilliant in pulp fiction because even though he was this bad bad dude, he had this goofy sweet side that only travolta could bring that put the movie on another level. Madson on that date would be like on a date with a serial killer, would have changed the entire tone of the movie. Thats what we call movie magic, when the cosmos gets together and decides for us whats best
I love Michael Madsen's work, and I think he could have pulled it off the Vincent Vega character pretty well. But, no one could have done it better than Travolta.
I actually think both movies would be all right if they swapped roles with Clooney. Different, that's for sure, but I think Clooney could pull it off as Vincent Vega and the same goes for Travolta in From Dusk Till Dawn.
!00% agree Sparks, I think Travolta and Sam L. were amazing, I think that that was Travolta's best role to date.... I did lol when he said he was not 'into Vampires' yet he is a Scientologist, oh the irony.......lol
@@pepwaverley2185 I just meant in the context of what the guy I responded to said (he should have said "that's not even close to true" instead of "not entirely the truth"). I have no idea what really happened and don't care.

James Cage - ☝️Interesting point… & who but Travolta could have nailed the dance scene in such inimitable fashion❔😁

It was originally michael madsen and laurence fishburne for the 2 leading Roles tarintino deffinetly made the right decision with Trovolta and Jackson
It was Paul Cauderon, not Fishbourne
+Dylan GMour yup, the bartender at Marcellus' place
nope Cauderon was who QT was going to cast AFTER Fishburne turned it down
tarintino
trovolta
can't believe he shot Marvin in the face
why? the gun went off? maybe jules hit a bump.
arco baleno the car ain't hit no motherfucking bump
"Hey, it wasn't my fault. You hit a bump or something."
🤣🤣🤣😆😆
his best role was Pulp Fiction
royale with cheese
crashpal Lé Big Mac
LIES! His best role is the fanatic.

Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction are two of my all time faves.
I can't imagine Travolta in From Dusk Till Dawn

tarantino says in an interview he wrote it for michael madsen
+Tommy Birtles interestingly , michael madsen played vince vega's brother in 1992's reservoir dogs! (mr. blonde)

A very commendable movie. Great. Best dance sequence ever.

Man it's true that he looks like a vampire
Vic vega from Resevour dogs is vincent vega's brother from pulp fiction !!
I've heard the studio guys wanted Daniel Day Lewis for the role of Vincent Vega. That might've been pretty awesome.
Rumor
Michael Madsen and for a brief moment Bruce Willis lobbied to get the part.
Little more information than I needed at the end there Vincent.
The indian man in the beginning kept getting louder and louder lol.
I assumed Grease would be on his most important roles
An Oscar nod for that?
Why did it get cut off halfway? do you have the rest of the clip?
VINCENZO
Unfortunately John, you only got the part cause Michael Madsen was already committed to Wyatt Earp, not cause Tarantino changed his mind.
I'm sure you've ruined his life.
My names Paul and this shits between y'all
Yeah Jules must've hit a bump or something
who was supposed to play vince vega originally?
michael madsen
He forgot Urban Cowboy
That was his best acting role.
Not entirely the truth he cast Michael Madsen originally but Michael Madsen was already under contract for Wyatt Earp so he went with Travolta
you're giving him too much credit. "not entirely the truth" implies he got at least part of it right. He straight up butchered reality.
