Sean continually stated that when he began the relationship with this young man’s mother she was already 6 1/2 months in her pregnancy. No one listened to him but the DNA proved his truth.
And his wife told what he wasn’t admitting. Which is, he was a virgin when he met his wife. Which means he never had sex with Brandon’s mom. I don’t understand why Shawn didn’t at least tell that part.

I suspect the answer to that question is what Shawn is trying to suppress and not deal with. I really wish Mentally Health services were more affordable. If he doesn’t deal with that pain he will still be affected by it.

Shawn was calm and composed. His demeanor said it all, he was not defensive just calmly stating, "I know the truth of the matter" and he was right. It's unfortunate that Brandon totally believed his mother, who obviously misled him. However, he should have handled the situation cautiously because Shawn had previously wanted a DNA meaning, he wanted Brandon to know the truth at that point.

My advice for Brandon is to put his DNA on "Ancestry" or "My Heritage," for example. It will link him to his maternal and paternal relatives. He might even discover who his natural father is or was. That's how I was linked to my father through a paternal half-sibling and scores of paternal family members. My father died before I found out his identity, but at least I now know the truth.
He might really end up being a father to him and filling that role now that the truth is out. It's beautiful that he's making himself available to the son figure. "Love" not "blood" determines family. 💜💪🏾💜

I believe he was still trying to be a father figure since he was with the mom while the mom was 6 months pregnant with Brandon and was with Brandon mother as a small child he was trying to welcome him in envy family are like family to him even though he knows he is not his father he remembers that is a child he was the one who was around Brandon until the mother broke up with him so I'm sure he felt like the reason Brandon was reaching out is because he still had never found his real father so he was just going to step up and be like a father figure and again be like family that Brandon doesn't have basically just being a good guy😊
The Grandma, I suspect is looking for a ‘new ‘ family as there’s clearly very serious tension with Shaun. And Brandon was a replacement son. It was implied that Shaun’s grandmother raised him become his Mother must have done something when he was a kid. She’s probably lonely …and I’m glad Shaun has turned into the rational adult he is.
Karamo has a Hallmark view of family and that’s great but just sometimes family are related by blood and nothing else….its that simple. You can actively not get on and dislike each other.

And I don't think the grandmother is messy because I was in the same situation where my grandma was told about me and my dad denied it she didn't pursue me to find out or do a DNA test the way this grandmother did once they got the DNA test my dad found out I was his and still let all the time go by
His Mother never told him who his father is, this is why she was so insistent on find out rather or not the other young man was her son's son, and really her own grandson or not.
