Wow! You weren't kidding when you said it was the best haul! So many GORGEOUS vintage pieces! 😍 I'm so jealous of you and the places you're able to shop at! Where I live it's so hard to find true vintage from before the 80s and you're out here finding the most beautiful 1910s-1940s pieces! Truly some of the best finds I've seen.
Love: white dresses, Brown crochet skirt, Monk's tee, Green velvet jacket (!!!!) Like on you specifically: Gingham top, Plane shirt, Levi's dark jeans, Gingham dress, Purple printed maxi skirt I wear boots in the spring and summer too; I love a good cowboy or moto boot with a sundress any day! Always jelly of your Cali finds; I live in Spokane, WA so don't find as many cool items at the thrift or markets
please drop a "shop at a flea market with me" video next time ❤ would love to see it! I mean it's not like we want to rob your closet or anything...... lmao great finds as per usual!
I’ve tried filming “thrift with me” type videos but I have trouble filming in public because I never want to make people uncomfortable or get someone in the shot who didn’t ask to be filmed!😭😭 it’s tricky and makes it kind of unenjoyable so usually I just post a lot of instagram stories at the flea market because that’s easier to control lol!
You’re on my rob list now, ESPECIALLY for that emerald green jacket 😭😮💨🫶🏼 my god that’s is the jacket of my dreams!! I need to get to the rosebowl sometime sooon. Love your vids caroline 🥰
Omgggg the Edwardian dress. 😍 and girl lemme just say I am over the moon for you about the fringe jackets. I know how much you needed those. 🥹 Also just absolutely obSESSED w the gingham crop. You weren’t kidding. This is THE haul. Lfg.
stumbled across your channel a couple months ago and LOVE your videos!! If you haven’t already would you consider doing an “intro to vintage” like vintage for beginners video?! I’m starting to dabble my toes into creating an entirely vintage wardrobe but it’s a bit overwhelming. Like what are some good stable vintage items to get when starting your wardrobe, where to look for vintage, etc!!
THE EDWARDIAN DRESS ... It is everything ❤❤❤ extraordinarily gorgeous They do not and will not make anything as intricate and stunning as that piece. Hope you cherish it forever!
I think the gingham/bandanna shirt is reversible so you can tie it in the back!! That makes sense if there’s heading in that side :) so cute both ways!!!
Seriously love you the mostest, you're like my clothing spirit animal, I'm always inspired after watching you, you remind me of my love of personal style and the joy it's always brought me - thankyou! 🙏
i just got some handmade, vintage, and thrifted pieces in the mail today and so the way i was cheering you on with these stunners oh my god!! your fashion sense is ELITE and i’m envious (but also happy for you) in every way ❤
OMG! Love that emerald green velvet jacket. Absolutely stunning! Love your style and energy… especially because you make it seem like I don’t talk much 😂
hello from San Diego. I have never heard of Monk's and I have lived here since the early 60's, or maybe I just don't recall Monk's, if that changes and I suddenly remember i shall let you know! this was a fun video!
That "novelty" polyester shirt...what is the brand? In the 1970s, I was obsessed with a brand called Nik-Nik and owned 3. You can't find them for less than a couple hundred bucks these days, at least online, and I've NEVER seen one in any thrift store, but the blouse you have and the ones you showed looked very similar. They always had very unusual designs and great colorways. Haha! I know what you mean about the maxi skirts. You simply CANNOT beat a maxi skirt with a pair of cowboy (or other) boots. Sexy, cool, artsy, fun, comfortable...yeah. That look has been, is, and always will be my thing. Outstanding haul, man, seriously.
You probably know this already, but I'd store your antique piece (the Edwardian lingerie dress, the 1920s velvet jacket and everything else you might have) in acid free paper boxes with acid free paper tissues, not on an hangers, away from light to prevent damage! Amazing finds, wow 👌🏻🤩
How do you wear boots summer time? I am just imagining how sweaty , uncomfortable and tired one should feel wearing boots in summer heat. What’s wrong with sandals or light summer shoes?
Beautiful finds, truly!! My only question is, how do you know the decade they are from? Is it because they told you so or there is a way to verify it? Sorry for being so skeptical.
Certain items, like the Edwardian era dress, were only made during a specific time period but other items will have a tag that I can look up and see when the specific item was likely produced!
Also being into vintage for a couple years now, I can sometimes look at an item and just guess by the structure, fabric, even buttons on it that were used when it was made! You notice similarities between garments that were produced in each decade, it’s wild when you are able to notice it!
@@CarolineTuckerthanks, I guess that’s the answer I was looking for! I am a vintage enthusiast but I can also see resellers selling something as “from the 20s” whereas it can be from the 80s. As we know, fashion trends do circle back and they did back then as well!! Wishing you the same luck in the next thrift trips, looking forward to your next video!
The green jacket is definitely much older than the 1920s. It looks like a jacket from the Ottoman Empire. It could be either Turkish (it really looks like our traditional ethnic clothes) or its somewhere from the Balkan (Greece, Romania, Albania, Bosnia, etc.)
Community thrift in Covina is my fave!! Worth the drove and also there’s some other smaller thrifts within a 10 min drive of it in every direction…you could make a whole day of it😚
girl how do your videos slap so hard every time, you truly never miss
Okay I got scared this video might be a flop so happy you enjoy!!! I just be yapping on and onnnnnnnn lol😭😭

505s have been my holy grail for the past decade. I am OBSESSED.
Whoever has been spreading this 501 propaganda needs to be held accountable for their lies! Aesop’s fables saying those are the best style PLEASE

Where I live in the midwest Monk's is a brewery that uses real german and croatian beers and brews
your haul was so spectacular that I had to subscribe I mean it would be bad form not to You sparkle!!!
it's truly a great haul!
Heey☀️ what size do you wear in the 550s so that they fit this nicely and low-waisted? :)
The more oversized were 32 and tighter were 30! They’re mens jeans so it’s unusual to find much smaller!
Love your videos so much!! ❤
you luckeddddd outtt omg

You were right!💕🛍👏
How would I know which items are vintage at my local Goodwill? It would be a dream for me to own an item of clothing between the 20s and 40s.
you eat it up EVERY time
I try!! I don’t wanna give you anything less😚
Holy shit this haul is incredible
SHE STRIKES AGAIN PEOPLE

That’s something for the museum honestly but wear it! Embrace the vintage piece, it’s beautiful and has to be worn outside!!!
Absolutely epic
Wow, just wow
I don't think I could wear clothing older than the 1950s because I'd be so scared of damaging it 😭
Does anyone wanna trade socal thrift store recs? I'll go first! "Anaheim thrift store" has been great every time I've gone :)
Community thrift in Covina is my fave!! Worth the drove and also there’s some other smaller thrifts within a 10 min drive of it in every direction…you could make a whole day of it😚
@@CarolineTucker I definitely will! Thanks for the tip!🥰 Love your videos 💛✨
😀
Funny enough, before I found this video 20 mins ago, I ordered a pair of 550 Levi's 😂😂😂
i was trying to figure out why your voice sounds so familiar- you sound so similar to cameron diaz!
Thank you for feeding us
I’ve been neglectful far too much recently like we’re getting a bit malnourished but no longer!!!
U talk too much
It’s almost like that’s the entire point of the video? Going out of your way to comment this is very weird, just don’t watch my videos ever again!
