we all have different musical taste. If you don't like the Spill Canvas, ya know what? I'm cool with that. They never made it big, so I suppose a lot of ppl feel the same way. But to me, and a handful of others, this band is fucking magic! And, that's what counts, it isn't about the popularity, it's about the amazement. The Spill Canvas was a legend that just never received the recognition it should have. I'm fine with that, I found them anyway, and I love them.
oh my. that thought shouldn't even exist. secondhand serenade can't even begin to think about comparing to the spill canvas. seriously. the thing i love the most about tsc is the lyrics. not so much this song cuz the pixies thing is like wtf, but still, they have some of the most deep lyrics i've ever heard in my life.
All he is implying by the pixie thing is she seems to have an electricity, a magic, but he does not want to give her any magic powers as if in counterpoint to all hail the heartbreaker where he had hoped his ex-love had the a power, the power to make everything perfect.
@bigaldinho =] It's all good. I'm guessing that you're British. You have no idea how badly I want to make you say bloody hell right now. Except I wouldn't be able to hear it. =[
Acoustic version is best!!!! Glad it’s still up 10+ years later

@@Thesussysuscat I guess you didn't get the album SUNSETS AND CAR CRASHES then? It's a great version too.

Yes, I think The Spill Canvas creates wonderful imagery.

My fav spill canvas song :) and drunken ballerina
Thanks, I was wondering when someone was going to comment this video. =] As for the song title, I don't have a clue. I love it either way though.
@bigaldinho thank you, mr. diplomacy.
Man i love that sort of whispery breathy singing he does and when i try to emulate it singing along i sound like a cringe lord
good choice
amen sista! =]
The title slide is Luna Bar. The lyrics are Amyie. Wow, it's sad when I didn't even have to consult my computer to recognize the fonts that I used. =/
Atleast 1000 of these views are mine. I love you with all my heart Jazmyn
It may be bit of imagery. It fits. But I'm sure there's a story behind it too.
@bigaldinho I actually have a Cure album. On vinyl, no less. And I love The Spill Canvas, so I'm going to ignore your rude insinuations.
This does not sound like it's from the album. This is a demo.
Robert Lewis it was on the sunsets and car crashes album
luna bar is the title slide
aymie is for the lyrics i believe
hmm. i think it adds to the imagery.
@DigitalCyanide :) i like that. a lot.

i kno... wats with the title..?? but awsome song anyways
@bigaldinho Half of me wants to tell you to take the drama somewhere else....and the other half wants to say touché.
@bigaldinho -__- why even comment dude. you know that's just going to start shit.
i can play this on guitar :)
Are you serious?
im going to disagree. i think the only thing they have in common is their tendency towards acoustics.
Secondhand Serenade is a whiney band. I don't like the shallow sound they produce. Spill Canvas is superior.
