    Thanks for the review. I can't decide between these headphones vs Denon AH-D7200. What's your thought on this?
    Cheers,

      Hi, I have had both the Denon and currently own the WP900. For me personally, I find the Denon's uncomfortable and the headband shape is really weird. The WP900 does have a unique sound signature as stated in the above vid but not sure if it will appeal to everyone. I would agree that they are very detailed in sound. If you are someone who loves Soul/R&B/Classical, you will love the WP900. It does scale well with other forms of music like house or techno too. The bass is not overpowering but i's still present. The only bad thing I can say is that the isolation isn't that good but I tend to use it with an amp so it's understandable that sound will leak a bit.

      @@KingEdmund Thanks for suggestion!. how is does wp900 sound compared to the Denon?

      @@benficaM8888 I did find the Demons to be a bit more tight in bass and a bit more wormer in sounds. The WP900 has a lot more clarity and like I said before, it works well with vocals and instruments

      @@benficaM8888 I never heard the 7200 but I do have the WP900 and 9200. If the 7200 sounds anything like the 9200, it should sound fuller overall than the WP900. WP900 sounds very detailed but thin in comparison to the 9200 from my ears.

    I liked your review. My thoughts, as a man who also enjoys good bass, when you have a bass dominated headphone it can make the entire sound range muddled. Vocals aren't as forward; highs get dominated to a point that details get lost. These days I prefer more of a Harmon tuning. It keeps the bass tight and punchy, without it becoming overwhelming. I do have one question. Do you get fatigued by the highs/semblance with these headphones? Thanks for your time.

      I only get fatigued by my Denon AHD 9200. They overwhelm me in about an hour. Music sounds incredibly detailed and fun at the same time but fatiguing. WP900 doesn't sound too bright for me. Its actually a good balance.

      @@upy0ur5 Do you own them both? I’m actually having a hard time picking one. I’ve read great reviews on both sides, can find the 9200 below msrp, but the AT probably represents a better value.

      @@upy0ur5 How could you describe their differences in sound signature?

    • @upy0ur5
      @upy0ur5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @184639 WP900 is has alot of impact on bass, recessed mids, and sparkly highs. Soundstage is wide but rather shallow. AHD9200 has slightly less bass impact but way more depth and texture, mids are so prominent that everything sounds fuller, and highs are a hair more prominent than the WP900. Soundstage on the AHD9200 is similar to an open back headphone meaning its very spacious but at the same time in your face due to the headphone having almost equal abundance in lows, mids, and highs.

    Would love some of these for out and about audiophile goodness. My only concern is they are so clearly expensive even to folk that know nothing about audio, walking thru the city it would be so easy for someone to grab and run.
    Think for peace of mind I’d have to commit the carnal sin of painting over that beautiful wood for stealth & just don’t think I could bring myself to do it 😞

      @pk.002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jacobfield4848 Yes, they are low impedance and a phone will drive them fine. A DAC/AMP is not necessary, but it will help bring out the best in the headphones with extra power.
