I am a 76-year-old man. I have had several falls as I have diabetic leg problems and I fall easily. The effort of picking items dropped on the floor is very difficult. I have fallen many times. I fell in my yard and I was unable to get up, as hard as I tried. I was there three hours until my wife came home and was able to help me up. My problem is I need both shoulders replaced, as they are both worn out and have rotator cuff tears and snapped tendons, therefor using my arms is painful. I have widespread arthritis in my spine, hips and knees, so every movement is painful. old people tend to be ignored and written off in Britain and getting help is difficult, sometimes impossible. So many services in hospitals and doctors' practices have been cut back, physiotherapy is a joke at my local hospital all they do is send you a video of exercises to do. I am working at getting my weight down as heavy-set people do fall easily and find getting up very difficult. The only problem for me would be the price of the floor lift and whether it is available in the UK.
I wish Medicare would cover some of the costs for this. My 80 year old mother has had many falls and the last one broke her back, took her seven months to heal.
Wonderful product. I could have done with one last October/November as I found myself in hallway with nothing below my knees.
Good as long as no hip is broken. My friend just bought one of these for her mom who falls a lot.
Wow

Only problem is the price
My family finds it to be cheaper than missing work and/or calling 911. So much easier.
I mean they charge for anything dealing with disabled people it’s sad
How much is it?
If the person who needs it is at least 65 years old you may be able to get it covered by Medicare

Would be great if it didn't cost $1,900.
The patient moved himself really easily! Not realistic for an elderly fallen person.
