Hello! I checked with my contact at Maidesite. They confirmed you do need a converter. They recommended this one: amzn.to/3wYJQ3f from Amazon. Hope this helps!
It is mostly put together when you get it. Here is an unboxing and setup video that walks you through it: th-cam.com/video/YQmmabRMp-g/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps!

I bought the chair for a loved one, works well.
I have the same one. I love it. My husband bought it just in case either of us falls. Also it can be used in the bathtub. I love it.
Thanks for sharing! I love devices that serve multiple purposes!
Awesome video thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Does it have a safety stop if a foot is inadvertently under it when lowering?
Is this device compatible for a 220V power supply?
Did you get the answer for your question?
The charging voltage on the charger is listed as 110v - 220v
Does this have a weight and or height limit?
I am in Australia. I bought one of these recently. Do I just need an adapter for the US charger or do I need a converter and adapter? Thanks.

Is tha back capable of folding down perpendicular to the floor(?
No, it will not lay down completely flat. It only reclines about 30 degrees or so.
Let's see it lift someone
Does it already come put together? or do you have to assemble it
