I use Ecam live, fed by an ATEM mini pro iso.

Most software nowadays is user unfriendly, it’s made with the knowledge of an engineer and not for a normal user !!!
I just retired from a 40 year career in user interface software design. I always prided myself in designing interfaces that were clear and easy to use (and got lots of positive feedback from users too). Sadly I must agree with you about the current state of UI design. Some of the things I see these days just make me shake my head.
