    Osaka lives up to its reputation of having the friendliest smiliest people in Japan.

    For someone who are stereotyped as shy all the people in your interviews are willing to go into great detail and not shy at all. I think respectful is often confused with shy. Personally that is what I felt when talking with japanese during my visits.

      Japanese people are shy. If you speak the language it would be easier to communicate but if you don't, you won't get far.
      Take it from someone who lived in Japan.

    I think what's great about your interview is that you usually go deeper into details, asking them further questions based on their answers, which is what other street interviewers in Japan at the moment are quite weak at. Keep up the good work!

    I really love your videos ! is there an option on your videos to take off the English subtitles and put only the Japanese subtitles ? I’m currently studying Japanese in Tokyo so it would be more effective for me , anyway keep up your good work !

      Not at this point. I have plans to introduce more Japanese-learner-oriented elements like Japanese subs and brief explanations of unfamiliar concepts when I have a subtitler, but as it stands I'm doing everything myself on a tight schedule. Bear with me, and thanks for watching!

    Generally, Japanese people are not as shy as perceived. They respect other people's privacy. They will speak when spoken to. Some can be downright nasty, but they are not the mainstream. There are many interesting happenings around if you ask.

    I heard you work on translation japanese/english better, so thanks !
    that would be great to have the good one directly as a youtube selection, I feel like you did more "accurate" one recently, and use more "litteral translation" I like it so far, thanks !

    A Japanese girl at 2:30 said what many foreigners said on the same topic in various videos, so they even think this themselves.

    I find it interesting that most interviewed say that they don’t like fact that Japanese people are not forward about their feelings. I guess this means folks suppress their emotions most of the time. This adds to emotional frustrations.

    So they all don't like that you can't express yourself... but they all WON'T work to change it? Japanese don't make a lot of sense.

    I saw a lot of Japanese couples in the background, the birthrate thing might be a myth

    • @jonirojonironin5353
      @jonirojonironin5353 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's the city so of course you'd see more couples. And just because they're a couple does not automatically mean they'll give birth to a child. And even if they do, it's not guaranteed it's going to be more than just one.
