OLTL 819 Victor & Tea (Homecoming)

- Starr flat out declares that "Todd" is really Victor and she's angry that he didn't fess up to it. Tea first doesn't believe Starr but watching "Todd's" reaction she decides to confirm his story with Vicky, unfortunately it's true.
Dani goes into a tyrade about Victor decieving everyone on purpose, and Tea quickly fills in the blanks about how Victor became Todd. Afte the inital shock blows over for both Victor & the kids they talk things through. Victor awaits rejection from his family, but Jack declares his loyalty & love to victor his father. Dani takes a moment to think things through and also declares her love for her step-father/uncle. Starr however seems reluctant to give anything up, but finally acknowledges that she will always love him - like she's saying good-bye. Victor embraces his children and asks for a moment with Tea.
Alone, Tea says out loud what everyone was thinking, he was afraid of losing everyone if the truth were revealed. Victor asks Tea if she still loves him. - บันเทิง
This was a good storyline as the show was coming to an end. I liked both actors and what they brought to the role. I miss OLTL a lot.
As soon as he stopped Tea from calling Vicki, she knew Starr was telling the truth
I love that Starr shoves Tea's arms away from her, when Tea tries to wipe Starr's face. Tiny, half-second moment, and powerful.
heddalee That whole Starr-Tea interaction is perfect. When Victor calls Starr “Shortman” (which was never right, it was supposed to be “Shorty”) and Starr moves away from Victor in disgust, and Tea says “oh my God, Starr” and doesn’t take her eyes off Victor even as Starr moves around and behind her is great, because she FINALLY knows that he’s not Todd. And then Starr starts apologizing, but is so insistent that Tea listen to her that she doesn’t want any empty comfort and pushes her hands away. That “oh my God, Starr” is my favorite part. The realization so well done.
Starr is the only one of Todd's children who really experienced what a great father Todd was. Starr, along with Viki, and Jessica were the few people that Todd would never hurt (which is why FauxTodd raising his voice with Starr and keeping Tess a secret never made sense) Todd was robbed of 8 years forming those same bonds with Jack and Dani that he had with Starr. Maybe (optimistically) Jack wouldn't have turned into such a punk.
The fact that Todd went to Star first proves he is the real Todd Manning. Victor hurt his relationship a lot with Star but the real Todd manipulated but after Marty could not stomach violence. Victor on the other had a lot of ways he did not handle situations well.
Victor was NEVER believable as Todd from day one. It was stupid to think people would ever believe he was. There was only one Todd. And I still believe- I still know - that Victor knew all along he wasn't Todd and just played along with it. He is just lying here to save face. What was on that disc that he wanted so badly from Marty that he brought Patrick back for her? Was it the proof that he knew all along.
Victor didn't know. That was clear when Baker showed up at his house. The disc detailed the illegal activities Agent Baker had Victor and Tomas do for his org.
Then they did this storyline on General Hospital with Jason Morgan in 2017.

Victor knew the truth all along. HE is just pretending not to know. He stole Todd's life and his family. Todd lost 8 years of his life because of him and their mother. Jack needs a swift kick in the pants the ungreatful little baby.
Because anger is not always rational. He resents Victor for taking his life even if Victor was just a pawn. It makes sense to me. Loved Todd's rage!
I’ve watched OLTL growing up, this is a classic reason why you don’t recast a character. The writers have to come up with a storyline to try to make things rational. I would rather victor had shown up Llanview with news he was Todd long lost brother. Todd character should not have had to work that hard for his own children’s love
Misplaced rage & jealousy - same reason RH Todd targeted Patrick vs the terrorists who shot him in Ireland.

There was only one real Todd Manning/Roger Howarth! NO one should have replaced him... the writers truly sucked after 2003... They made a huge mistake that is why the show tanked because it turned into garbage!!!
Jack’s acting was pretty annoying, but I do like the fact that he was loyal on Victor’s side during all this.
This storyline really brought out trevor and kristen's really great acting. After a few years seemed he and kristen had gotten a little stale but they were both fabulous. Even thought I am always a roho fan and love him as todd this story really made their acting rise to another level. Kirsten is fantastic here. Again I really am.lost why they hired AT as jack his acting was awful esp against all these powerhouse actors he was in scenes with that I actually wish he just never spoke . He took away a little of all these powerful scenes. Jack manning is the son from.2 iconic families and they knew he would be blown away by tsj ka es fl roho & kdp. I wonder what the auditions were like for the actors who didnt make the cut. Hes a good looking kid but who cares if his acting sux . He wasnt gorgeous enough to even overcome it and to be honest if he was the best looking teen alive I still would take a decent looking guy over him. Geez their are so many performing arts schools in ny and theatre actors. I've seen better actors younger than him. Sam is even better. They made a mistake recasting carmen loporto the previous jack. I think they recasted bc they wanted a bigger kid than Shane to be a bully and they knew he was born before daniella so they aged him. Why didn't they just keep dani a younger child than a teen. Unless it would look weird that tea put a little kid in boarding school but plenty of kids around 10 go off to boarding school.
Also what was blair thinking showing todd these albums ??? Did she think it would make him feel better not only seeing all the milestones he missed but pictures of victor with everyone blair starr and jack. I also was annoyed after victor was finally declared not todd he was now poor victor . Fine his childhood and being brainwashed he was a victim but all the lousy things he did were all him. I really hated what a dick they wrote jack out to be. Why did he have to be so viscious to his bio father ? Also victor was horrible to starr so this must have made her feel better that it wasn't her dad that she knew that did those things to her. Throwing her down the stairs plotting to take her baby away with Marty and barging in on her first time and beating the crap out of Cole. I cant imagine having ur first time and ur dad shows up while ur in bed with ur first love rips the covers off and beats the crap out if ur boyfriend.
I think todd would have done a better job with the kids . Starr got pregnant . Jack was a murderer and little jerk . I hated that he hated his dad . Why do the daughters accept him easier. It's not victor or Todd's fault. The s tir who plays jack is not good. I wish they kept the hall before he was a better little actor and looked like roger. Victor was abusive and yelled at his kids something todd would never have done also as todd said the marty romance was a clue to everyone. I think jack would have loved his real dad of course if he raised him. Theirs no reason for jack to hate todd
He knew all the bad things todd did and still loved victor. I guess I wished Jack came out a nice kid not this angry brat. I guess victor rubbed off on him.

Cause when the other Todd came along aka Victor lord Jr he really made his mark and he also play the shit out of Todd Manning as well now he might not be the real Todd Manning but he was a victim as well now if they wanna blame someone Irene was the twisted pathetic piece of shit of a mother their mother she was behind the whole entire thing Victor was brainwashed so how n the hell Todd mad at him judging from how Many times he abandon his family countless of times shit Todd should've been thanking victor instead for stepping in and picking up where he left off I love the real Todd Manning but I love Victor lord jr more he definitely earned my respect ....

I guess you never saw the real Todd in action b/c TsJ paled in comparison to Roger's portrayal. There would be no Todd Manning but for Roger (and writer Michael Malone at the time). TsJ was great as Walker Lawrence, and they should have let him continue to play that character. Todd should have never been recast.

Forever Mackn The storyline was a little far fetched. What I hated was how they shoved St. John out of the way and let him go just two weeks later. I like to think the intention was his role would be expanded back in the Prospect Park continuation had it been more successful
