I think that was the internal Japanese name since songs didn't really have song names unless they were part of an official soundtrack.

BTW Kirby's return to dream land was my first game and I have huge nostalgia for this game.
same, I remember playing on my grandparents wii one day when I found an old dusty copy of the game. So I put in the disc, and it was never the same again
It was my last til Forgotten Land. For a while I considered this my last hurrah with the series. In a way it still is. Cause by this point I was a veteran with how the series plays and its tropes. So this final battle felt a lot like the last culmination of all my experiences playing the previous games. A bit in my head but that's how I looked at it. It was one of the last great 2D adventures in the franchise. The last major one I'd say at least. I never got around to playing those 3DS games. I guess I was kind of spent with the games by that point. Wouldn't mind trying them out later.

I agree along with the boss theme from Kirby Planet Robobot, and the one for the Three Mage-Sisters.
A LOT of songs should have been in Smash ultimate. I swear Sakurai goes with the most laziest picks these days. Even when it comes to his own series like Kirby

Almost every Kirby related thing in smash is from the time he worked on the series.
We have one remix from a game he didnt worked on the rest is just ports from the other games. We have 0 stages from games he didnt worked on, and no characters from games he didn't worked on.

Remember when this was called "Under my Control"? That name rolls off the tongue better, but I will admit, this title is more fitting, considering what Magolor says in a prior cutscene

I prefer under My Control. It's more... Intense and also not just what Magolor said earlier with some spice.
i love both this and crowned tbh. this works as a boss theme a LOT. its energetic and climactic. while crowned feels more like the world is already ending and you have no chance. crowned has the feeling of something thats not in control, which fits PERFECTLY.
they go hard with kirby songs for no reason
this song is one of the best final boss fight songs in gaming history if not one of the best songs in gaming history, it genuinely feels like you are the worlds last hope and that the entire universe is at stake. some of the instruments are cheery with how they sound adding to the factor of you being the only ones who can save everyone. it's use of some of the songs from the soundtrack more specifically some of the happy ones. AND THAT FUCKING DROP AT 1:30 OH DAMN! this was my first video game and I am so happy that it's been here my whole life. I wouldn't change a thing about this game or the soundtrack. I miss old nintendo and nintendo seems to realise that we miss it with all the remakes of amazing games such as mario rpg, thousand year door, dark moon, and kirbys return to dreamland...

@@VortexF i've already played the base game, magolors epilouge, once completed the arena and currently attempting to do extra mode. i had a lot of fun, 60 euro's well spent. i'll consider super star ultra
This theme used to always want me to go all out against Magalor back in the day....ahhh nostalgia
And the game literally lets you go all out by giving you super abilities to break his shield and do the final blow. It's awesome!

It’s like at that moment when Magalor pulled the “F*** You” Star shield up that could only be damaged with super abilities, we were all like “Okay…. If you wanna play dirty as a last resort Magalor….. then SO CAN I!” That Super Sword Finisher attack will always be a treasured memory of my childhood.

I don't really think that fits. Under My Control is a simpler name that conveys the same thing in a more intense way that I so dearly live.

Is the fact this is the hyper zone 1 song supposed to hint at the crowns affiliation with dark matter (the crown was tech by the ancients tainted by void in the past apparently) if so that’s godlike

i do like the idea of him tricking them it was a good idea from him since he knew when he lost to landia he had to ask one of the greatest heroes in popstar kirby since he knew kirby was strong enough to take on landia and defeat him to get the master crown and once he got defeated he didn't expect dark matter to take over his body and the power of the master crown and tried to defeat kirby but then failed and got defeated and the master crown broke and release magolors body allowing him to be free and this theme is probably one of the best kirby themes and also C-R-O-W-N-E-D as well like this theme is the hard kinda deep metal one while for the other one is kinda way more relaxed
