do i have to do math about wattage of the speakers vs the wattage of the stereo??? how does wattage affect my decision in purchase? If my speaker wattage is higher than my stereos wattage output what signifiagnce is that? what is theose numbers were reversed? I am trying to understand the importance and influence that wattage plays
I agree for the most part but I don't think it's fair to bash the stock speaker for not having a tweeter. A lot of cars come with component setups stock.
I would recommend upgrading your head unit also. Itll sound way better. Look up "Crutchfield". The head unit will come with a wiring kit to fit your vehicle so it's literally plug and play. Not having to cut and splice a bunch of wires.
You forgot to mention how awesome components look once installed! LOL...The components I got from you guys are still working great and those are all the speakers I got in the car.
Solid! Good Video! I just ordered them Sony GS component speakers two weeks ago, and yesterday ordered the NVX800.4 Hey, my Pioneer deh-80prs has a active crossover. Think I'll be alright not using the Sony crossover......Will the tweeter handle 120 watts straight from the amp???? Got the NVX 12 gauge wire for all 4 speakers.!! Youz are out of NVX 8 gauge wire for my two NVX 12vcw. what to do???
Hi good vid i have a ? Thats sorta odd but im doin a project with 2 mini speker i mean there prob an inch and i made boxs for them and the highs r realy loud to the point i can bearly hear the bass ik theres not goin to b alot but still is there a way to eliminate some of the highs and if so what do i need
Is the power provided by the amp divided through each speaker? For instance, if I have an amp rated at 600 W, does that mean it provides 600W to all 4 speakers?
I upgraded my old stock speakers with the new aftermarket speakers for better sound to my stock head-unit radio that has built-in GPS and XM and other apps that I use so don’t wanna change that however, my speakers sounding worse than before. Do u why is that?
HI I have a 2003 nissan skyline it the Japanese version of the infiniti g35 exact same car only a right hand drive I hav a pioneer avh - x4700bs install & need some advice I am looking to replace the stock door speakers & want yur opinion on some 6 1/2 not worrying about price also can u recommend an amp to go wit them
So I have a 2000 celica gt and just got a sub and amp, but the speakers suck and if I play anything even a little loud it's fuzzy so should I get new speakers to replace and are any speakers compatible?
Find speakers that are the same size as the stock speakers & hopefully you were able to swap them without modifications. Question is why would buy subs by themselves if you KNEW the interior speakers sounded like shit?
Well an amp would definitely help them sound better than running off the head unit/factory amp. Aftermarket speakers shine best when given good power they are rated for
I have 1200W Proline Car Stereo, if I add 4speakers 3-way 800watts, do I need amplifier? or my 1200watts car stereo can give enough power to them?? i need answer thankyou
My 2003 mitsubishi eclipse has the stock infinity sound system. It's a convertible, in know for a fact the factory amp has gotten wet before. This is where my problems start. My radio itself, turns on. But no sound. Nothing at all. I replaced the amp with another used amp, that works, and still have no sound. Can somebody point me in the right direction? My speakers aren't blown they're fine. Just no sound!!
great video! i'm new to sonic. i would like your opinion. i know nothing when it comes to sound aftermarket systems. i own a 2000 toyota 4runner limited. i am planing on getting an aftermarket stereo and i'm planning on replacing the 4 speakers in my car as well as the tweeters in the front at the same time. what brands do you recommend. after i save more money i do want to drop a 5 ch amp and a subwoofer. but for now i want something premium that sounds good and has the potential to be upgraded. thanks
For anyone else who reads this DON'T get a 5 channel amp. Get a separate amp for the mids & highs, especially if you're running passive/ active crossovers, & a good mono block for the subs
Cool!! I have installed an aftermarket speaker. Now it got cold outside and my rear speakers and stock subwoofer doesn't work. What would the issue be?
So if i hook up a 75x4 amp can use the 18 guage wire in the car and just run some wire from the amp to the wires for the car or do i have to gut it and rewire it with 16 gauge?
but is Bose considered "stock" speakers?? I got Bose speakers throughout my car... and before I threw my subwoofer in the trunk it actually sounded great.. good bass and highs anyone help?
+Bouge laal I wouldn't consider bose stock car audio. If a car company's using bose then you've obviously bought an expensive car. Keep them there great. But if you know of speakers that are better in your opinion then get them.
+Bouge laal Late reply I know but car makers subcontract out the audio part of the car to audio makers. If you have a bose system it was probably an upgraded audio option, however keep in mind that even if an audio manufacturer normally makes decent speakers, they aren't putting their top of the line stuff in a car package. For example, my car has the sony "upgraded" 10 speaker system but they are still only 25 watt cheap speakers. They aren't horrid but there are WAY better options out there.
My car had a Bose premium sound system with 6 CD changer and 3 factory amps and even then replacing the head unit with a mid range Pioneer stereo, component speakers, 4 channel amp, sub, and mono amp made a MASSIVE difference. The factory 6.5 speakers were decent and had a very hefty magnet and build quality but still wasn't as good. I used to think they were great but that was before I tried aftermarket setup right.

lol actually factory speakers sound way better than after market. unless u get high quality aftermarket speakers with an amp then dont change them because the aftermarket speakers cant generate bass like the factory ones
Thank you for the video! Really helped me to start thinking about upgrading!

Was thinking the exact same thing
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, 😁
Do i need to upgrade my stereo/radio? I was just planning on upgrading my speakers and keeping the stock stereo.

Well explained! 👍👍
That was the fastest beard grow in history. Period.
Nice video man ty

No, it'll supply as much power as needed to each speaker as long as that number is higher than the total of all 4 combined.
@@RtistiqSkubie what kind of Amp will supply power to your front/rear and sub speakers?
I just put some new kicker speakers but am getting static from my back speakers what can it be
Wires maybe be crossed, make sure you have the correct polarity from the head unit to speaker too.
I upgraded my old stock speakers with the new aftermarket speakers for better sound to my stock head-unit radio that has built-in GPS and XM and other apps that I use so don’t wanna change that however, my speakers sounding worse than before. Do u why is that?
what is the difference between common and ungrounded speakers?
I have a 1997 tacoma and want to run one or 2 subs in the future what do I need in a head set to run that
thanks, i have a better understanding of this.

Nice
Hey Allyn, is it better to use the head unit cross over or the amp crossover? KDCX897 head unit and KAC-8405 4ch amp both Kenwood.
It's best to use the amp crossover
how do u check your car speaker size

Great video.. If i have Focal Speakers with Crossover... do i still need a AMPLIFIER?
Well an amp would definitely help them sound better than running off the head unit/factory amp. Aftermarket speakers shine best when given good power they are rated for
We manufacture speakers baskets / frames from 4'' to 15
What is name of the aftermarket speaker that he showed

You need an amp

It means you need to put on your belt

What speaks are those
does the watts matter when buying a speakers
yes.
My babysitter smokes crack ! 🙀😾 I keep a super tough grilled cheese pan under my bed just in case.👊
You should add a "um" counter. LOL
what about ohms dude
but is Bose considered "stock" speakers?? I got Bose speakers throughout my car... and before I threw my subwoofer in the trunk it actually sounded great.. good bass and highs

Was it an Audi A3?
Samuel Mason speaker

There should a "um" counter. LOL
What about cars that advertise quality audio. Example Mercedes and others who use Harmon Kardon or Bose

Stg this is the worst video I've seen in a long time. Reminds me of "this is an Aspen, you know it's an Aspen cause of the way it is" neat

yes true but ppl dont have money or wont spend money on damping the door panels and make them better enclosures
