Woodturning - This Could Go Wrong!

So I found this piece of wood and I'm not sure whether it is Mahogany or Sapele. It turned lovely but didn't have any smell to help me with identification. Any way no matter the wood, I am glad with the results. Apart from the odd catch of the finger when sanding .... ouch!
It's sanded to 7000 grit and finished with Danish Oil and Wood wax.

Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practise. The gloves I wear are tight fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.

I don't know....can I call it sexy? Strange but that's what comes to mind when looking at the finished piece. Its form has a flow to it....simple, understated and sexy. Interesting! ♥️ from 🇨🇦
