    We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

      How can I repair it? Cause I dropped it in water. And it stopped working.

      @@rohanmohanty3872 Shoot I'm not sure how to repair it after that because it's not waterproof. You may have the manufacturer warranty available but I think that's it unfortunately.

    Love the headset, but you must have some great luck with them. I've bought 2 and they both died just outside of the warranty. Hard to justify spending the money when it just craps out after a while

    I need a Bluetooth for mainly phone calls, is this prevent background noise while talking in traffic or in bus ? So that receiver hear my voice clearly ?

    • @TechOutAdam

    how does this compare to Airpods pro microphone?

    • @TechOutAdam
      @TechOutAdam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, it's going to drastically reduce background noise better than the AirPods Pro and you're heard louder. The AirPods Pro are just best if you're in a quiet room and even then it makes your voice sound muffled. I did do a review of them so you can hear the mic test to compare.
      Here's the link and I've shared it starting with the mic test: th-cam.com/video/deP57g9rtYc/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, thanks for the great review. I bought 1 too recently. Just curious, Do U always max out the volume when using? (Cos I do & I’m not sure if it’s my issue). Also, is it shock proof?

    • @TechOutAdam
      @TechOutAdam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm, I usually am at about 50%-60% with this headset at any given time. That's interesting. Shock proof? If I understand correctly, it doesn't pick up those spikes in loud volume easily.

    Hello Adam. I like your honest review of the Jabra Talk 45. Have you seen the Comply TrueGrip Pro Foam ear tips? I have been using Jabra earpiece that's about 8 or 9 years old. I grown to hate using it. The over the ear black plastic clip sometimes comes disconnected from the earpiece. I've actually had the earpiece fall out of my ear with the clip twice and never noticed it was gone. I can't use an earpiece without a clip. I recently discovered memory foam ear tips. Similar to what you'd put in your ear to block out loud noises. (ear plugs). What is your opinion of pairing the Jabra Talk 45 with Comply TrueGrip Memory foam ear tips? Thanks. Vancouver, Canada

    • @TechOutAdam
      @TechOutAdam  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me personally I don't like using those comply eartips because of earwax and overtime they build up too much earwax in my ears.

The microphone on the Plantronics model is great in wind scenarios, but in a quiet room (home office), other people can actually hear me filing on my finger nails and asking me what the heck that noise is 😞. I would recommend actually getting a dedicated podcast microphone. No matter how good a headset is for call, they will always have a nasal sound like you're on a call no matter what. JLab has incredible microphones for $99.00 that are the same price as some of these headsets but WAY better in performance for a podcast. How will you be doing your podcast?
