We have not had the opportunity to use it during warmer weather. The grill did well for our purposes, however I am not sure if it would work well with cast iron. We will try it this spring while camping and let you know how it stands with cast iron. 😀
Might need to get one for the boat the older marine grill I have can be quite temperamental I guess it could be from salt build up over the years who knows but need a new one
It's garbage. I've had mine for a couple years and I hate it. First and foremost, it doesn't get hot enough. What that means in the end, is no searing, everything cooks super slow, and everything sticks to the grill because it can't get hot enough to char the meat. Then when you are done with it, you can't just turn up the heat and char off the debri and turn it to ash like a normal grill. So despite this being called a grill, it's not. What it is; is a Coleman camp stove re-packaged. Like those green camp stoves from Walmart (or K-Mart) that mom and dad used while camping in the 70's. It might be good for frying eggs and bacon, but forget a nice marinated chicken. The chicken will dry out before the center is cooked and it never properly browns. That's my experience. Maybe someone else found a better way to use it. It is NOT for burgers, chicken or steaks. Maybe hot dogs. It might get hotter if it had a lid or cover. If you don't clean it then all the funk runs into the base. And it's not easy to clean, not hard, but not easy either. The grease trays blow away in the wind. I've lost one of mine somewhere.
It’s really cool you can just grill on the ground!
Yes! This grill makes it a cinch to grill some tasty snacks just about anywhere!
👍grilling situations
Thanks for watching! We are going to grill no matter the weather. Have a great day!
How about cleaning it?
Is it gross after cooking something like bacon? How easy to clean? Thanks for the video
That grill. Wow. That thing looks sweet
This thing is really sweet! It would be a perfect grill for road trips, tailgating and beach grilling.
Does it get hot enough for a cast iron pan and a pot to boil water? Would love this for my campervan

It would be nice to see grilling something that has a little bit of Grease like a burger or two and to see the cleanup
Does it also connect to a regular 9kg gas bottle
How does it handle on a windy day?
It seems to handle well in all weather. Cook time and temperature do need adjusting for variables like snow and wind. Thanks for watching!

I'm not sure of the marine applications but this an amazing grill!
A grate day to grill
Every day is a GRATE day to grill! 🤔
