    Just to clarify: At the time of the old ones creating them, the Orks were actually known as the "Korks". What's the difference you ask?
    During the war between the Necrons and the Old Ones (Known as the "War in Heaven"), it was *THE* biggest war, that the galaxy has ever seen.
    Bigger wars = Bigger, Tougher, and Smarter Orks.
    Can recall the War of The Beast, and how that "The Beast" itself was able to match Vulcan in strength?
    He was considered a "*DEMI-KRORK*".
    Not only that, but during the War of The Beast, Orks around the galaxy grew both bigger, and SMARTER.
    Each Krork, during the War in Heaven, was stronger than a *FUCKING PRIMARCH*.

      Trazyn allegedly has the last remaining "pure" Krork in his collection. And yes, they are massive. Larger than a Primarch, scary intelligent, with armor and weapons rivaling humanity's during the Dark Age of Technology. They were essentially what you would expect to see when you combined Ork warmongering with the combat prowess and power of the Adeptus Custodes. It was most likely the Necrons escaping into their tomb hibernation that caused their de-evolution. Without a worthy for to fight, the Krorks turned on themselves and devolved into millions of years of infighting and purging their ranks until their species shifted to focusing more on animalistic instinct for warfare.

    35:00 Pandorum (2009). And (41:00) humanity had warp travel far beyond the capabilities of the Imperium during the age of technology, and it was that which was used to colonise the galaxy. The age of strife (aka "the old night"), which arose after the endless warp storm from Slaanesh's "birth", is the dark age for that empire, and during that period the very oceans were boiled away on Earth and much of what was known was lost. The Emperor lived through it all mind you and still had knowledge of much of the old technology (presumably including warp travel).

    head-canon is that Old ones got their shit wrecked by the C'tan, and the necrons, being immensely powerful Psykers, they fled into the warp, somewhere the C'tan are powerless, during their journey they ran into the Chaos Gods, and were forced out of the warp, in a different dimension, there they settled on a planet, and began to prepare to defend themselves from the chaos gods, and fight back against the C'tan.
    1 thing I really liked how this portrays Trazyn as not believing the Chaos Gods are Gods, like the man literally saw the C'tan and the Old ones, dude has seen Gods, and he knows they are not them.
    Talking about how humans got to having an interstellar empire, is because the Emperor who is a perpetual (Immortal) and he isn't the only one, the perpetuals all knew each other, and for the most part they were friends, and the Emperor their leader, they would behind the scenes, ensure humanities safety, and were probably the ones behind a lot of the Dark Age of Technology discoveries

    This Video from Warrior Tier and "The Infinite and the Devine" were the final nails in the coffin of me getting a Necron Army
    While I will remain a Guardplayer at heart, I find the Necrons extremly cool, especially Trazyn. He's just so goofy which is rare for a 40k character
    My favorite character still remains Caiphas Cain, but Trazyn is a close second

    The new lore says that The Old Ones fought alongside the Necron against Chaos, but the even newer lore (the Lion book with Vash'Tor or whatever his name is) says the Chaos gods were born AFTER the war in heaven. The thing is, the necron pilons are weapons against the warp and the warp is timeless, so slanesh already existed during the war in heaven but it wasn't born untill the Eldar fucked up. It's a shitstorm of contradicting lore.

    I truly belive that Trazyn is the only Necron that is willing to set an "alliance" with the Imperium, you know, if we give him some archeotech, some Astartes to study and use them in some big Lego sets, maybe he will be a good friend with us, Trazyn is different, not humble but understanding, he understands history so probably he understands us.

    I'm gonna have to side with Trazyn on this one, humanity didn't contribute shit to the creation of the Chaos Gods, they always existed in some form ever since the first sentient thought.
    the War in Heaven made Nurgle Khorne and Tzeentch as we know them now, and the fall of the Eldar made Slaanesh as we know them now.
    humanity didn't become relevant until the Great Crusade and even Big E was just a larger than average speck in the Great Game until humanity started worshipping him like a god.

  • @waterdog_mf

    Ya the War in heaven was WILD. Imagine the emperor as a pretty baseline psyker during that time, this was the time when Gods really did walk. Primarchs as normal soldiers, suns being used as amunition, and the whole galaxy itself was the battlefield.

  • @MrHellsing76

    it's my headcanon that Trazyn met with the Emperor, an in exchange for a vast stock of Geneseed from for the soon to be dubbed Emperor's Children legion, gave him the heads-up on how to not prematurely awaken the Necrons on any planets the Imperium came across.

    I remember it being a theory that the Tau were artificially raised given how quickly their race evolved and some necron’s have been dabbling with organic to try and find a way back too the flesh times so I suppose it’s not impossible

    The lore is iffy regarding the scattering of the primarchs. In some old lore it was Argel'tal that cut the powercords to the emperors warp shielding for the primarchs. There is alot of lore there, and I for one belive that the Emperor did indeed make a deal with the Chaos gods, In exchange for an Army that at some time would be called upon to fight some outer threat to the gods. But that is just my personal belief

    • @YOGI-kb9tg
      @YOGI-kb9tg ปีที่แล้ว

      We know what happened with the Horus heresy books. The Primarks were sent into the warp because of erda the mother of the primarcks and the emperor stole the fire of chaos and used it to keep them at bay we find this out in the end and the death as malcador admits it that the emperor stole the fire of chaos the same fire Horus took at molok. Basically becoming the everchosen of chaos if you know warhammer fantasy.

    • @Thalanox
      @Thalanox ปีที่แล้ว

      @@YOGI-kb9tg If you can prove that this was the full story back when the lore was first being written, then I'll listen to you. As it is, it's like you think the Horus Heresy is the sole source of lore itself. It isn't. The books were a way to add scenes and writing to the lore snippets in the codexes, because they were such cool pieces of the story that you had to piece together yourself, and everyone with a different army knew different pieces of the story. It's a bit like learning the lore of Dark Souls by reading item descriptions.

      @@Thalanox wow where have you been for over the last 10+ years it's not like GW has written a 50+ novel series based on HH and we are given answers for what happened.
      Also I know originally HH was just snippets of disconnected events the fans had to mash together to get a somewhat coherent story the difference now is we have a 50+ book series that tells us what happened.
