    Thank you for reacting to this one. The Necron bias is strong in the narration, but it's a very comprehensive and mostly accurate timeline of 40K. The reason for the human focus (beyond Trazyn's own interest in them) is because most of 40K canon is from the human perspective. They have the deepest documented history, while the other races are trapped outside of the spotlight.

      What we could've known is now lost and what we are left with is stagnant the galaxy burns while the warp God's feast and laugh.

    During the Golden Age humanity had pretty cordial relations with the Eldar. They still saw us as inferior, but were so spooked by how advanced our technology was that they "didn't want to try their luck" so to speak

    I find it interesting that you pointed out his focus on humans. This is inter eating given the second to last line. He is a collector. He seeks to retain history and knowledge of times long past. But he sees, whether right or wrong, he sees humanity as the future of his race, to transfer from their bodies of necrodermis, and to take the bodies of humans, to live once again.
    He collects the past, learns from the past in order to secure the future of his race.

    It's funny you mention that at 22:05. In one of the best 40k Books, "The infinite and the divine", Trazyn actually laments. However, it's not so much that the necrons can't create, or that they can't breed or expand. It's that the history of the necron is dead. They have lost their souls, and so are no longer truely driven to do anything. They don't change as a race. Or even as an individual. What Trazyn admires most about humanity isn't their organic bodies or souls. It's that their history is still alive and growing.

    The reason why we haven't heard of these other alien species is because their long dead in the current Warhammer 40k universe. The Old Ones created many species that were killed by the Necrons and C'tan.

    Much of the Old One's own legacy races that aren't current major players aren't important enough because they're smaller than the known factions and long since quashed or still hidden though some like the Jokaero tech monkeys made themselves helpful to the Imperium. Warhammer Fantasy is a different story because while have your big player races created from them like the Elves, Dwarfs, Ogres, Halflings, Giants and so on. They also made the Lizardmen and their Slann toadmen leaders that are far more closer to the Old Ones than pretty much any other faction by keeping around their legacy relics, and recorded 'prophecies' to uphold the Great Plan the Old Ones gave them during direct communication before the Chaos Gods crashed the party.

    The Jokaero and the Hrud were previously mentioned as having appeared at the tail end of the war in heaven.

    the reason you don't hear much on necron vs tyranid is the fact the hive mind of the tyranids doesn't want to as there's no biomass usually on necrom tomb worlds and they can't eat them on top of it all necron weapons destroy to the atom so the can't reeat the dead tyranid so it's just a loss for the tyranids in the end

      The Tyranids?

      @joekupec7893 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SoloReacTalk well we don't know much on them and is supposed to be an eldrich horror but best guess is the giant fleets that the hivemind sent is just a scout force and the real fleet is on the way as the have attacked at different point in the from north east to south west though the one fleet that went through the north east (also known as the ghoul stars) went mad from some horror that is said to be stronger then the Chaos gods to a point that there is a space marine chapter full attention just to keep a watch on the area

      @Joe Kupec this is why we need them so desperately they are like a bane to the tyranids advance in the galaxy, we need them to focus on this threat then they can tango with the other factions later. 🤞

    To me trying to apply human mentality to the necrons is one of the funniest things ever. They killed a species of gods to extinction, enslaved another set of gods, took a nap and when they were a part of the circle of life I can't lie to you bro. If I was a part of a species that lived max 30 years in pure agony with space super cancer and some hairless ape with 60-80 years and no genetic issues to compare tried to compare themselves to me my punchline to that joke would be to exterminate them like a wasp nest and regard them as such.
    The Eldar find human morality meaningless. The good ones. And they are a part of the circle of life in their own way. The necrons are anything but that. But they WERE that and now it is simply beneath them. Case closed.

    The Necron could eradicate the Tyrranids with ease if they wanted. They hold every advantage over the Nids

      I beg to differ. The Silent King was willing to contact the Blood Angels for unprecedented diplomatic talks specifically because he realized the Tyranids were a serious threat to all races in the galaxy (including the Necrons)
