Я всегда считала, что песни Владимира Высоцкого мог петь только сам Высоцкий (абсолютно уникалный, ни на что не похожие тембр и манера исполнения). Никто и близко не мог подойти, что бы так проникновенно передавать смысл его глубоких текстов.
Диана сделала невозмрожное: впервые за 4 десятка лет песня Высоцкого снова исполняется живым голосом с полной силой и внутренним наполнение. Я плакала.
Здесь в комментариях есть весьма неплохой перевод этой песни. Но что бы понимать не только поверхностный смысл, нужно ещё и понимать контекст эпохи, в которой жил и творил Высоцкий.

Практически все его песни основаны на жёстком ритме, и когда другие исполнители не следуют этому ритму, пытаясь петь "как все", как правило на слух уже "не то". И так же скажу, что моя критика не умаляет стремления Дианы пробовать, искать... Она очень талантливая девушка, и я как все мы люблю её творчество.
