Shurit, welcome back to being played! Lol in all seriousness though, I’m looking forward to making a Nekroz deck and playing it out. I’d love to see an updated version of the Nekroz build, just to see what your thoughts on how to play Nekroz in this day and age. A lot of builds are running the impcantation engine or cyber angel Benten with Vanity’s Ruler.
Anyway, hope to see an updated version of the Nekroz build and again, welcome back to being played in yugioh!
I forgot to add you can use outer entity nyarla to attach arc light as material. If you synchro summon it(deep sea diva and gishki vision) and then overlay it using Unicore which was summoned by kaleidoscope, you get two searches. :)

I think running gofu would be good. You can use it to summon Skulldeat and activate its third effect. Basically, you are choosing cards for a deck which is consistent and you get +1.
Gold sarcophagus is nice as well to get Nekroz non ritual effects.
Idea for a fun deck is to play Nekroz Zefra and urgent ritual art.(Nekroz is always fun but you get the idea...)

Since you use gishki shadow you should run 1 or 2 gishki beast. It helps with rank 4 plays and its water so you can make toadally awesome. Do have this more freguently i also use gishki chain en silent angler allong with 2 double summon And upstart. This Will help bring out link monsters or toadally awesome. Upstart and gishki chain is also very nice. You can also normal summon your hand traps and SYNCHRO if you run ghost ogre. And finally maybe run the weird nekroz pendulum card since you have so much gishki shadows and then rather run mirror at 1. i personally would drop the lvl 7 and 10 nekroz

One Trish is enough i think, as tbh Trish is pretty underwhelming and needs a big setup to pay off, because if trish gets stopped or can't resolve you are too behind to get back into the game well enough
3 of Valk is mandatory! you need a way to get rid of useless monsters that cant help you at all, like multiple normal summons or the tribute fodder you are playing
Catastor is decent in a nonritual variant, as it really enables to go into spamming r4nk monsters.
2 mirror, 2 kaleido, 2 cycle is decent, if there is anything id add, maybe its the third cycle as its the most beneficial in midgame, and youre likely going to run out of cycles the fastest.
Gishki vision is shite. Its an inconsistent imposter that does nothing, besides other than trish the most beneficial monsters you would want to cycle back would be brionac, or unicore by tributing either benten or a lvl4 nonritual nekroz monster, as they provide you card advantage and further grave setup. Essentially gishki vision is just a minus in of its own.
Id be against the windwitch engine, as the only thing it does is getting you a crystal wing and locking yourself out of playing. A kristya combo or a toad or even 41 might just be better and more consistent with your deck
I also strongly recommend either playing a nontribute nekroz variant with 2-3 ariel, and each nonrituals as a one off, capitalizing on generating card advantage through valkyrus, spamming rank 4 plays by reviving unicore, using a lvl4 nonritual which plus off of being tributed, and catastor, to get some lvl4s on the board to spam lvl4 xyz monsters with.
In that case, there are alot of niche consistent interactions opening up, while also ensuring that you pracitcally never run out of cards due to the nonritual lineup netting you so much recovery and grave setup.
Or the kristya variant which also lets you generate massive advantage through benten, and also being able to summon a vanities fiend with almost the same consistency as the infamous djinn lock back in its prime.
Ozzy Mandice even suggested playing 3 swap frogs and 1 ronin as 1 swap frog with 1-2 water monsters end on a toad, whose recovery abilities extremely support nekroz. I like its versatility.
There are alot of way more advanced and refined combos out there that help out with our deck xD
Also, to the nekroz enthusiastics out there! I made a nekroz discord! youtube comments are a bit of a pain in the ass to discuss everything, so one could use discord not only for deck theory but so much more! Itd be cool if youd take a look at it xD

Finally a good nekroz player. Use the non ritual engine and benten gives you a lot of advantage and good grind power. Valkyrus is to. gain advantage not to protect !

Nekroz of Sophia can stop extra deck summon for main phase, pretty good if you went first and made a board. If your opponent activates evenly match, and goes straight to Main phase two, activate her and you made your opponent waste a turn

Im a bit new so forgive me if Im asking something stupid, but why do you have so many XYZ monsters in your extra deck? I thought they had "ranks" instead of "levels" and therefore they wouldnt be able to be used as tributes for a ritual summon through the kaleidoscope. Thanks in advance if anyone explains this to me.
Ricardo AG That is correct- you mainly need a level 12 and a level 4 for kaliedoscope. The Xyz monsters are actually to play

Kenshin Himura Um it’s up to debate but I think stun Nekroz would be slightly more competitive or maybe both the decks are equal, this is just a tutorial on how to play Nekroz in general as most people play the normal version

Don't really like playing 3 Valk. His tribute effect isn't that helpful considering it's relating on rng (due to the drawing). He's just a major annoyance for battle phase ending or being a body imo. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Send quasar from extra the grave
Summon Uni (lvl 4) and Valk (Lvl 8) = Lvl 12

Also if you’re having bricking problems you should focus on having many searchers in your deck
yeah i was thinking about that, but i also run the windwitch engine and would prefer not to run it, because i dont want to rely on crystal wing to carry me and i want a more purer version of nekroz.
what cards would you suggest that i swap with the windwitches.

weaponbx08 Oh no the ritual ones all have effects on the field and their hand effects are activated by discarding them, you don’t get the effects of the monsters you tributed only the effect of the monster summoned to the field and any Nekroz monster effect that you wish to use from the hand by discarding them
they were more powerful than ever until emeral got hit. maybe not quite as consistent as djinn lock or performage format builds, but the plusses were just insane, and it was literally 100% impossible to outgrind without deck stacking or divine intervention.
The nonrituals or benten in a kristya variant are pretty good to cover your resource problems up :D

Well I played 3 tidal, 2 deep sea diva, 3 dragoons and like 2 nordens xD I always went 2nd and if I didn't have the otk in hand I'd give my opponent an acid golem and that usually took card of the rest
