Tip: If you have all great sage armor set with the staff on, you will get the great sage mode (CHAPTER 6 MAP ONLY) which gives you unlimited stamina, all new unique light + heavy combo (first light attack + heavy is smash stance, second or third light + heavy is pillar stance etc). also because of the staff you can charge up to 4th focus point and sage mode 4th focus point heavy attack does A LOT of damage. purely using light attack like you did is like playing this game on hardcore mode (super impressive that you are running through bosses this quickly with just a simple hit and dodge tactic!) Ps: you lose great sage mode at 2nd phase of broken shell as he took your relics away
@@LilyCharles You were using the whole set already just that I never saw you try to charge up that heavy attack :'D I recommend mastering thrust or smash stance as they both had a light heavy combo that can counter attacks!
Wait. I finished the game and a message told me "now you have to play in a New Game+", so I choose that option. Did I choose the right one or should I select "Continue"? Cause I have to star all over again (keeping my armours and weapons) and I see you started in a snow level.
She finished the game without beating Erlang so she got the bad ending. So she continued the game so she could go back and fight Erlang and she will have to refight the final bosses Great Sage again in chapter 6 to get True Ending and receive the 6 th Relic , Which I believe she did this on purpose to see and record both endings
@@LilyCharles It's probably August next year, maybe even later. 《Journey to the West 》has 81 bosses, so only 6 chapters were made. The original plan was supposed to be 13 chapters, but before we could wait for the plan, 6 chapters were released first

What helped me a lot to beat Erlang was to turn off his health bar. It's just distracting and made me nervous every time he got low health.
Smart! His fight is so long too, but the time he gets to low health, the adrenaline is high

So if you got the True Ending receiving the 6th Relic you should start New Game +
