They legally can't and still race in Europe. They're mandated to have a governing body separate from the F1 sport.
They'd have to find a new governing body first, which would be tough.
Might be worth putting out there, though thst they're open to applications to govern F1.

Oscar Piastri gave him the respect Sulayem deserves by hitting his arm out of the way when he went to shake Oscars hand. Sulayem and Liberty Media are going to ruin F1 if allowed to, but one can't do it without the help of the other.

F1 is a powerhouse and the UAE has always wanted a major piece of the action; MBS has rejected French laws and the European process' put in place to ensure transparency and fairness within the Management of the FIA; Rather than being a disruptor for innovation and change, MBS is using an antagonist management approach in the same way the UAE has operated for years...(NFG)! It will need to be the teams that force a change because Liberty sees the UAE as a major financial influencer or the potential buyer of F1.

F1 needs to GO SOLO, remove themselves from this nonsense, and the F1 is the big dog, not the FIA, they can do it alone, and it'll be much better for all involved, taking F1 Academy, F3 ,2 and F1. stand alone, and will be GREEEEEEEEAT, Make F1 Great again

When you are the leader (CEO) and you are facing internal and external criticism and a lot of push back because you actually suck at your job, then you have only a few options available to you.
One of them is to clean house and install your own less qualified lackies in key positions, ones that you can control and intimidate at will! Or you setup the people in your management group to take the eventual (Fall) blame when everything goes tits up as you know it will as you are sh*t at your job.
Mohammed Ben Sulayem appears to be stacking the decks with newly minted blame takers, for what he knows is 100% coming down the line at him, either provable corruption allegations or something much worse!

Sadly I suspect why many of us who dearly love motorsport in all its varieties are turning our backs on F1 as it becomes more and more mired in "entertainment". political infighting and controversy(in respect of questionable penalties). When (if) the teams and drivers can move to a complete change of attitude by the FIA, they the FIA will soon kill the golden goose.
