Question: How do you voice record ppt when playing ppt in "slide show"? I am doing that because I have made animations in the ppt and want to speak to them as they come up. My problem is that when I put ppt in "slide show" the screen enlarges and goes beyond the snagit capture space that I started out with in half-screen.

Dean, you will have to go full screen all the way through but the problem is that you are going to have a big file.

Hello, great video. I will definitely use this. I have used Sang-it for years and never thought of this before... Thank you. A question : if you have made a mistake in your pitch it is recorded. Can you "rewind" in some way to change what you said ?

You can cut out bits of the video after but you can't rewind with Snagit

I am at a loss. I am trying to record a powerpoint presentations with animations, with Picture in Picture to show myself as narrator, WHILE accessing my slide notes (or a teleprompter if I could figure that out). In order to have access to my animations, I must be in presenter mode. I need my notes so I shifted to to presenter view where my notes are still showing. But I can't seem to access snagit to record the active slide because Powerpoint covers the whole screen. Is there a solution to this problem? I need Powerpoint slides, with clickable animations, access to my notes or a teleprompter, and the ability to record it with Snagit or similar, on a macbook pro. Praying for a miracle. Thanks in advance.

You need to click on the windows button and that will show in the tray all the programs you have open, then click on the Snagit Recorder and you will be able to record full screen in PPT

how do you get the yellow circle around the mouse cursor?

I use Camtasia when I am making the videos. SnagIT only lets you have the cursor but not the yellow part. Camtasia though costs more money.
