😂 You are amazing. Like I said, because of you I was able to build my own shop from the ground up. I said if he could do it I can too. Keep being amazing.🎉🎉🎉
Hey Sam! 👋 I just installed 24 of these in my shop and they are AMAZING!! Super budget friendly but looks like a high end job done. So much more professional looking over my old hanging shop lights. I also now don’t have to worry about knocking lights down moving lumber around the shop, which may have happened 1 or 200 times 🤦🏻🤣🤣 Great videos as always! You my man are a true inspiration.
Sam I am so excited for you. What a beautiful room /office/shop you have to work in. If that isn't a motivator then I don't know what is. I need a sewing room so I believe I am going to talk to the "boss" about it and see what he can do ..............LOL Beautiful shop..............ENJOY!!!!
Your giddiness is more apparent in this video. One can tell that you have reached an internal milestone! Congrats on the build so far! I love this series!
Captain's log!!! That ceiling looks like the Starship Enterprise dashboard! Congratulations Sam! I look forward to seeing the tour of all of your toys set up!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Say hi to Angela and the boys! 👋 Big hugs and big love for you all! ✌️💖🙏🇺🇲✡️✝️🙌🤜
Morning Walks Ginno ....best time of the day. I learned that while living on a tropical island for 5 yrs near Cambodia. LOVE watching .....enjoy your stay, Blessings Patrick
Oh man, the frustration when you're doing outlets, and you get a few bad ones in a row. I had this happen and ended up just taking them back to the box store and getting the expensive ones. Some just do not pull up to the wall/ceiling and get tight enough like they should. Great job though buddy!
You did an amazing job on installing your flushmounted LED Lights in the ceiling of your new shop. I really liked the addition of Receptacles in the shop ceiling, too. I did the same thing in my garage shop. Well done, Sir!
Your shop is looking great. I’m getting mine next month. Get Carlon blue old work boxes. I’ve installed lots of them over the years. Zero issues. I 3D printed a jig, but easy to make one from plywood. Easier and more accurate than tracing the box. Never need to recut a hole. Keep up the good work… I’m stealing ideas. 😜
Sam, I have followed you before you moved your trailer to this location and you have come a long way and done a lot of work with your wife at your side a lot of the time, but it is looking better and better as you progress.
Those are really nice lights and love the feature of the ring light, perfect for a TV room/theater room then if you could Dim them with a dimmer switch great, just like you're in a actual movie theater.
The shop space looks amazing! Plenty of light. Thanks for taking the time to film all the steps in building this place. Your efforts have helped tremendously.
Love the special feature on the lights. The regular setting I'd nice & bright but not blinding. I think you chose the perfect lights. Ceiling trim turned out great. And the attic entry door was a great choice too.
Howdy Sam, another great vid! To me, especially since you make vids, the most important thing about picking lighting is the CRI and you lucked out that that those lights are CRI80. It’s very important to get color accuracy for vids but it’s also pleasing to your eyes. For vid I’d usually recommend 90+. One food for thought, for the color temp I would recommend as close to 6500K as possible. Reason being is since you have so much amazing sunlight that is the color temp of sunlight. At minimum you’d want 5000K. Side side note, those “mood” lights 😂 are freakin sweet. Keep up the great work you’re very entertaining and inspiring.
Sam, to cover that area where the wires come through, back cut a piece on 45 degree angles, then overlay it on top of the corner trim at the ceiling (Long points of the 45 against the existing trim). It will cover the wiring, but give you a 45 on either side for a gentle transition instead of it being blocky.
Sweet! I think those are similar lights as the ones I’m going to use! Its nice having you a month ahead of me in my build as I have been able to see things and make changes to my build before its to late. Hope you saved your metal box punch outs! I bet you can laser some Sam craft logos on them to give away with your products or something? Are you going to build work benches before you move in?
That's plenty of light. 👍 Hopefully I'm gonna be the first to suggest this idea as it's just came to me now as the flat lights on the ceiling have suggested you should definitely build a camera gangtry right down the middle of the shop. Yes, may cause issues with dust extraction but man, will free up all your camera tripod's and get you fantastic camera angles. Just a thought. 👌
@@Samcraftcom Thanks for replying. As you probably know there are some excellent TH-cam videos on home built camera gantry's. One in particular from a guy called Marius Hornburger. His idea maybe to small for your application but certainly a great idea. Good luck on the rest of the build. Of course, I'll be watching. 👍
GREAT JOB SAM!! SUCH AN AWESOME VIDEO AND I HAVE FOLLOWED YOU EVER SINCE NORTH CAROLINA! YOU SURE HAVE THE RIGHT TECHNIQUE! WOW! LOOKING FORWARD TO SOME AMAZING PROJECTS!! TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS ALWAYS!! 🇺🇸🤠🙏🏻
Oh, Sam, before you fill the center of the workshop floor with equipment, you need to bring Angela out in the evening, turn on the mood lights, play pretty music, and dance. Come on, you gotta do it (with the camera catching it, of course).
I never thought about using disc lights for my shop. I was going to use 4 foot or 8 foot LED lighting which would get dusty, the flush mount would not have that problem as bad.
So I know there was a reason you cut out the first receptacle box what seemed on camera oddly. It’s not like you to do something like that unless it was known or intentional. lol. Sam it looks awesome! Now since you’re going to be tanning while in the shop you should invest in sunscreen.. lol. Awesome job and great installation on those lights. I think most people are a bit intimidated by those type lights. Keep the videos coming!!
I put similar lights in my woodshop but they really aren't bright enough even though i have quite a few. I ended up installing 4 foot led lights and now I need sun glasses. I compared the ones I installed to the ones you installed and your's are quite a bit brighter, so I had to order a bunch.
😂 You are amazing. Like I said, because of you I was able to build my own shop from the ground up. I said if he could do it I can too. Keep being amazing.🎉🎉🎉
That is really cool that the lights just snap up to the ceiling.
Looks really good! Proud for you. Now Angela may want her a new and bigger soap shed.😊

I love how bright it looks, and no shadows, you are going to enjoy working inside this shop and I will enjoy watching. say hi to the family for me😊

Everything looks great Sam
Now that there is some fantastic lighting! I really like the ring light option. Amazing work and a shop to be proud of for sure!
Thank you very much!
That trim sure made it happen.....
Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and your family. Getting your shop ready to start to work
I put those in my house. Love them! I have had to replace 2 of them after 3 years. The rest are perfect!
That smile will never leave Sam’s face hee hee
Captain's log!!!
That ceiling looks like the Starship Enterprise dashboard!
Congratulations Sam!
I look forward to seeing the tour of all of your toys set up!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I’m never going to Reno a mobile home or build a workshop. So why do I love to watch your videos? 😆❤️
Looks great. I wish I had that much lighting in my workshop/garage. The troubles with sharing a garage with my wife and my Home brewery LOL

Same here. 👍
Sam, your knowledge about "everything" simply amazes me!!!!
Thank you Sam! So excited for you and Angela! Looks amazing!
The finish work makes a huge difference.
The lighting looks great. I put up 32 LED can lights in my shop as well, and I really like how they light up the shop
Those are really nice lights and love the feature of the ring light, perfect for a TV room/theater room then if you could Dim them with a dimmer switch great, just like you're in a actual movie theater.
The shop is looking good. I like the organized romex into the main panel.
Looking good Sam, can't wait to see the finished artical
Awesome job with the lighting cause most people I know they always wished they had done something to have more light 😎
I'm glad seeing shop is done
Your excitement is contagious. :)
The shop space looks amazing! Plenty of light. Thanks for taking the time to film all the steps in building this place. Your efforts have helped tremendously.
Those 2 mode lights are very cool.
Love the way it looks, the ceiling finish gave me some ideas I will implement in a different project I started. Thanks for the inspiration.
Glad it was helpful!
Fantastic work Sam! Loved watching this build! Just a little bit envious 😊
Another beautiful job...miss seeing Angela and the boys
Hey Sam. Love the new shop. When is the mini-split going in? You have to do it. It’s a game changer!!
Workshop is looking so good almost done nice.
Gooooooooooooooood evening, Sam.
it's looking fantastic and I'm very jealous, watched every vid so far brilliant.
Excited for you.
Great job! Love the progress. Looks so good. Thanks for sharing your journey. Blessings.

Always glad to help give ideas or show what not to do. :) Workbench builds will be required before moving in, yes.
I like the lites you put in, Because I'm thinking about building a new building for my molde railroad

You are the first to comment on here to say that! :) I'll see how the space goes and gets used, but that would be pretty awesome.

Great job Sam. Are you going to cover the joints in your ceiling? If not, I would suggest you consider it. It may keep them from sagging over time.
That shop is looking amazing!!! I was wondering how are your feet doing with all the up and down the ladder lately?
if you cannot return those outlet boxes you might be able to fix one or two using the still good parts of the broken ones
Good stuff Sam :)
Are you going to trim the seams on the ceiling
