  • 30 seconds video showing 25 min process of one of explorations while designing Paris ex policeman. Obviously request was to make him ‚badass’ yet wated to find something deeper, like addiction and psychological scar after rough past. Using subtle visual narration.

This is the most inspiring artwork that I have seen yet. I want to get into concept art and like the simple art style. Could you give me any tips on how to approach the very first sketch? You sketch so confidently that it looks like you got a template. How to learn to sketch like this? (Without weird geometric shapes etc)

Great Technique. What resolution do you make your concept in?

@@RichellyItalo as small as possible. After 13 yrs in one company I was deleting files and there were over 121 000 jpgs so the size matters. That's one thing I got know 😅 In sketches purpose its mostly close to the screen size. 1100px height for characters a d 2200px wide for the environments. Then chosen one led for final is around 4k

Thank you, as I think of it as not getting into thinking of details just my hand flow and making simple decissions. Not perfect, just one after another. Actually I was working as a concept artist so that’s probably easier for me.

    What brush are you using?

Some random classics from Procreate. I guess those ones were Pencil for sketch and just full flat for color base. Then probably softer for adding symbolic lights.
