I can’t keep up! 😂 Nice review. Dual timelines, magical realism and romance are however not my cup of tea. I’m glad I don’t need to add another book to my TBR😊
I never usually pick up a romance book, but this sold me on the magical realism and the books. It's amazing how since I've been doing this channel how my reading has expanded and I'm picking up genres that I would usually walk past. Horror is still a definite no for me.
@@millysbookshelf2101 , I enjoyed it, except for the long stretch in the asylum, but I was glad that was a minor part of the story. The magic bookshop, and the tree in Martha's room was very fun. I loved finding out who the old woman was.
I loved the idea of books just appearing in her room. The magical element was just super, I'd love a tree in my room but I don't think my husband would approve.
I enjoyed the magical realism part of it - and the books. I've recently passed it onto a friend who wasn't initially sure if it was for her, but ended up loving it.
GREAT book. ❤️
I loved the magical realism in it
I LOVED this book so much.
The magical realism really worked here
Loved this book. Great review!
Wasn’t it good?
@@millysbookshelf2101 - it was! It was gifted to me, and I was sceptical because it's not what I typically read, but I enjoyed it so much!
Fancy seeing you again. Randomly came across this book. I'll add it with my order of Full Moon Coffee Shop.
Hi again - I thought this was really good with it’s sprinkling of magical realism
@@millysbookshelf2101 sounds just what I need. Trying to write my own. Within universes but a new adventure each meeting
Good for you - good luck

I am just starting to read this today!
I enjoyed the magical element in this. I'd love to know what you think.

@@joycejarrard6958i don’t get it, who was madame bowden ?
There doesn't seem to be a way to hide spoilers in comments - but without giving anything away, just think magical realism.
I just ordered this book for my daughter 😁. I had not heard of it, but saw a Tik-Tok book lovers vid. Sounds like a good book.

I am reading this book, but something is puzzling me
I felt that it all came together at the end
Just finished this and the ending felt rushed and flat. 3/5 for me.
Life would be boring if we all liked the same things - I love how books stir different reactions in everyone.
@@millysbookshelf2101 100%. It had some moments I did truly enjoy though 😀.
We'll have to see if we agree on a book in the future
