I am reading this book, but something is puzzling me
I felt that it all came together at the end
I LOVED this book so much.
The magical realism really worked here

Nice review. Dual timelines, magical realism and romance are however not my cup of tea. I’m glad I don’t need to add another book to my TBR😊
I never usually pick up a romance book, but this sold me on the magical realism and the books. It's amazing how since I've been doing this channel how my reading has expanded and I'm picking up genres that I would usually walk past. Horror is still a definite no for me.
I just ordered this book for my daughter 😁. I had not heard of it, but saw a Tik-Tok book lovers vid. Sounds like a good book.
I enjoyed the magical realism part of it - and the books. I've recently passed it onto a friend who wasn't initially sure if it was for her, but ended up loving it.

@@millysbookshelf2101 , I enjoyed it, except for the long stretch in the asylum, but I was glad that was a minor part of the story. The magic bookshop, and the tree in Martha's room was very fun. I loved finding out who the old woman was.
I loved the idea of books just appearing in her room. The magical element was just super, I'd love a tree in my room but I don't think my husband would approve.
