Even with 4vdc, you should add a resistor previous a led to avoid damages.

So that one point ran there / back. and the second scheme - so that three points run back and forth - when the first lights up, the third goes out😊🔥

Yes, by controlling clock spead of timer ic , just place a 10 k variable resistance in series of 3.3 k resistance from pin no 7 to 6 😊
